    @@shanelai2515 I haven’t looked at smoothstar only yow and carver. Carver has a c7 truck with more swing that might suit better. I’m still undecided, defs not cheap without getting to test out. They just got the carvers in at twelve. ✌️ I had one other question, the trucks all seem really high up for pushing. I’m 5’5 so it’s like stepping off a cliff lol. Which have the lowest ride that you’ve tested? Btw your videos are dope 🤙 Btw

    In this video, it's a 70mm 78a. But the surface is smooth concrete. Harder wheels will definitely slide more easily. Carver wheels on road are defo really sticky. I would worry more about getting the right technique and timing though. It will help to do a pre carve and tight turn before releasing the tail to complete the first 180

    I always thought the "reverse" part of the trick meant you should do the second 180 in the opposite direction of the first one (slide). Example: if you rotate 180 clockwise, to reverse you'd have to rotate back counter clockwise; if you rotate 180 counter clockwise, to reverse you'd have to rotate back clockwise. Isn't that it?

    In surfing there is both 'carving 360' - watch kelly slater for that and also 'reverse 360'. We have to differentiate both

  • @rafaelmarangoni

    @rafaelmarangoni

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@shanelai2515 Yes, just watched it... Basically, in the carving 360 you keep rotating the whole 360 in the same direction: - Regular frontside: counter clockwise - Regular backside: clockwise - Goofy frontside: clockwise - Goofy backside: counter clockwise In surfing, the only reverse I found was the air reverse, which is basically changing directions. Example: if you're regular and are riding a wave to the right, you do the bottom turn backside (clockwise), and then when you hit the lip you rotate frontside (counter clockwise) in the air. I don't actually know how that translates to surfskating, but I guess the name is not as important as the actual trick! lol Great content, man! Love your videos!
