Love your videos! Can you please do a tutorial on how to stop on a surfskate when you go downhill? Jumping off is not the best solution when you get too fast 🙈😎

Just got a Carver Triton Spectral as my first surfskate. I have taken to it pretty well, but these tips are for sure going to come in handy. Thanks! I wonder if the CX trucks are any harder to pump than the C7's? Tritons come with CX's and I notice that they are not quite as bendy as I remember my friend's C4's were. Easier to pick up, but I am imagining a bit harder to pump? Or is that in my head?

Thanks for sharing this video. It's a great how to video. For the tips you have on pumping on a surfskate, can this be done on a ripstick? Or is it a different approach?

Can't surfskate pump on Ripstik and RipSurf. It would be more of a wiggle pump

OT: Yesterday use my surfskate after a long time. I tighten the spring of the C7 until it "closes" and I do 3 turn back as usual ... but the reaction is too weak. now I'm "2 turn something less back". Before the storage between winter and lockdown, I had also completely loosened the spring, which is the same good habit, that I do on the drum pedals in case I don't play it for a certain period. It is true that from september to december I used it a lot but I thought that the spring lost elasticity after a year.

My back foot is a bit damaged due to a torn ligament I once had and can't bear too much weight for too long. So I have to use my front foot more. It works, but I'm not riding very fast so far (I'm still a beginner tho). Do you think I can still learn to ride well eveb if I can't use my back foot on 100%?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. One thing I don't get it. On no.4, you mentioned pressing the back leg to the same direction to the way you want to go. On another video, you mentioned about pressing the back leg in an opposition direction i.e. Front foot toe side, back foot heel side. As an absolute beginner, which technique should I use?

First of all, thanks for contributing to the surfskate community with your videos. Secondly, I really think you should focus much more on the upper body movements instead.. using the ankles only as you demonstrated is sooooo bad for a beginner, it's kinda cheating.. you won't be able to apply that on a bowl, or half/miniramps, and most importantly on a surfboard. That said, thanks again.

1- Actually, everything starts with your eyes: where are you looking at. 2- Then the shoulders, where are you going with your body. 3- Bend your knees. So you are giving credits to what is not so important. No offense.
