Michael's have some very simple ones. If you google "shadowboxes" a variety will come up.
How would you frame baby hands? Would you need to file it down so theres a flat surface before gluing on?

Yes, you'd need to file down the backs of the hands to make them flat.
What type of glue you used to stick in frame?

We used a glue gun with glue sticks, but you can use a two part epoxy glue
Can you glue directly to the brown backing board

We made that ourselves. You can just print out the name in an attractive font and cut it to size then stick it onto the backing panel.
