Please help me, when i press shift + w + 2 the number 2 does not work for me even in game i do it and i can't press 2 with the shift and w combination but i have an old keyboard that when i use it with shift + w + 2 it works perfectly but it's an old keyboard so please help and i want to solve this issue.

Just for share, changing "Easy access keys" does not work for me. I reset by "Trouble shooting" my keyboard, then restart, and finally: Ctrl + Shift + Home/ End work well now

This works temporarily for me. What I finally did was I downloaded "sharpkeys", and using it, I disabled one of my shift keys ( the one I barely use), .

when i did it, my keyboard wasn't responding lmfao

everytime I alt tab from a game, my shift key is lock out of nowhere, and i need to press L shift again to unlock it its not that difficult to fix it, but it bothers me so much

Hey brother, what version of Windows 10 are you running? Go to your Settings for me, then to System, down the bottom to About, and tell me the Edition, Version and OS Build. BTW, does your shift key work in other places? Like right now typing, can you PRESS the SHIFT key to capitalize letters? In any case, mine works in normal situations, even in games for sprinting, but when I try to make a combination between shift and another modifier key like ctrl, that's a problem. In programs where I press ctrl + shift + s to save all, that son of a bitch doesn't work. In GeForce Experience, I previously set my recording and screenshot hotkeys for ctrl + shift + r, ctrl + shift + e, and ctrl + shift + s. None of those work at all.... whether I try to use them in-game, whether I try to rebind them within GeForce Experience itself, I'm simply not able to make the 'ctrl + shift' combo.....

for me it says HID Keyboard Device HID Keyboard Device Standard PS/2 Keyboard and all are fully updated

nope- my shift key, whether on the onscreen keyboard or on my independent keyboard, will not type shift + a or w. it simply refuses to type it. having to hit capslock every time i need capitals of either letter is getting old edit- i found my problem and fixed it. seems i had made shortcut keys of these keys on my display fusion app. as a result, the keyboard couldn't type the capitals of them. if you are having this problem, you need to look at your different apps and see if you made shortcuts of them. i removed the shortcuts and chose other keys. i used the number pad keys that are never capitalized instead. problem solved.

i did followed your instruction on Acer laptop only but Shift phisical key is not working, only on the virtual keybord. and the keyboard is actualised and everything. This probably is a mecanical breakdown of the bottom

Still not working for me

I came to this video because my shift key was only letting me make lowercase letters and I kept looking on my keyboard and found out that the caps lock was right on top of the shift key and I was clicking caps lock😂
