That is funny you mention this, it has happened to me before also. Another similar phenomena occurs when you have to go through an automated answering service to get to customer service. Enough to just annoy the living day lights out a person.

After spending 12hrs working on how to restore my keyboard I came across your video and I followed to the end. The last hack resolved the issue for me... Thanks a million

right on. all other tech sites didn't suggest the keyboard fix.. this guy did. when keyboard driver fix doesn't work.. or anything else.. he suggests to check the synaptic driver.. reinstalled and fixed. 2 thumbs up. dude.

Thank you,solution no#4 solved my keyboard malfunctioning problem. I just turned off sticky keys and filter keys settings, keyboard started functioning normal.

What a great video, I tried all possibilities to fix mine without success but perhaps there is an easy solution to my dilemma. My keyboard was working fine until my cat sat on the keyboard, first it went haywire and typed all kind of numbers, symbols etc. After restarting it does not type anything. Maybe you can suggest something else? In any case loved the video, very clear and easy to follow.

Thanks Hannele, I will suggest you try reseatung the keyboard connector cable by removing and hooking it back, if that fails try an external keyboard, if that works maybe you need a keyboard replacement

Thank you so much. I took my laptop apart, unfortunately I didn't have the same model as you I have a HP so my keyboard connector wire was on the bottom of my laptop. I disconnected the wire and cleaned it and reconnected it and it's now working properly. Only took me about 20 minutes with no PC repair experience. It is totally worth the try. I think a shop probably would of charged me over 100 dollars to fix it.

I've watched 10 videos to fix my laptop keyboard, but no luck, now bumpet in to yourvideo and now i'm very happy. thank you EasyTechs.👍
