The main game I play is rec room and it’s really annoying when the character is randomly turning. Had no idea others were having problems like this but it helped so thank you.

I’m literally on KZread looking for a fix with tools in hand ………based on these comments I’ll be trying this out tonight ! BRB 💨

I have just had my thumb sticks drift, thought it maybe from smashing it against my cupboard when playing vr😂, I will try both the spray and the option calibration tonight. Thanks and keep up the posts please.

Very nice video, Instead of setting the deadzone to 100, I would recommend to try with a small deadzone like 10, if it doesn't work 20 etc..

I did it and im not moving anymore, but the stick drift is still there and horrible since my left controller drifts backwards and my right drifts left doing this stops me from moving randomly but thanks to my drift I cant move forward or turn right.

in the calibration screen the white circle is all jiggly how do i fix this?

My problem is that whenever i move my left controller it acts as if I'm moving it left. Is this an example of this? I've had a my quest for roughly a year now

ima go try this my only concern is that my stick drift is so bad i cant click any games or settings because it always thinks im scrolling up so i dont know if ill be able to get to that stage but ill try some wd40 thanks man

Have you tried using the other controller (that works) to adjust the deadzone for the controller that doesn't? Might be worth a go if not :)

this would work but my drift is SO crazy that NOTHING works like it says that the joystick is always at the very edge at all times so even with this deadzone thing it still wont work

mine is just a slight in that direction its like glitching in that direction not like a slight difference but thanks anyways

The downside of putting your dead zone to 100 is that game that use the analog value of the thumb stick won't work as expected since you just turned your analog stick into a digital one

hi i find that strange because i dont find that hand and controller settings :S

the sensors for my thumbsticks are completely destroyed I HAVE to get a repair

I’ve done this but now in a game, I can’t move forward at all only backwards. Help me please n thanks.

Hey! I'm really not sure. I would suggest to adjust the deadzone slider until it helps you out the most. Maybe look into getting a new controller? Some things just aren't worth the trouble :)

this wont work for me sadly ill either have to get wd-40 or disassemble the controller. my drift is so bad that the entire controller dot moves everywhere on the calibration.

I'm so sorry to hear my solution didn't work. Definitely try the WD-40 contact cleaner first as this helped me initially :)

Hmm I've never tried it with that game. Maybe adjust the deadzone slightly and see what works best for you :)

Probably won’t work because I have severs stick drift.

I did this and adjusted it too 100 but my joystick drift was so bad it was about to fly out of the dead zone so there were no differences

I think you can adjust the deadzone so it doesn't have to be the full 100 depending on how bad your thumbstick drift is. So if you are keen on having the ability of slowly walking , then definitely have a play and see what setting works best! :)

I tried this, worked for 2 minutes. Then it just got worse, so now it’s on deadzone 100% and still doesn’t work.

Ahh I'm sorry to hear this didn't work for you. Not sure why it would only work for 2 mins then get worse. Perhaps the fault is deeper than just controller drift?
