Perfect. I found the KZread video: "Troubleshooting Maytag Washer Models: MVW6200KW & MVWX655DW Guide Online Appliance Tech" and learned how to go into diagnostic mode (it's not like the one pictured here). Found out that my MVW6200KW2 had Error Code F9E1. Found your video and what do you know? The exact same pump, connector and problem! Thanks, You da Man! Saved me some dough and didn't even need to order parts! FWIW, I found the factory service manual online. They don't list this apparently common broken wire problem as a possible cause for F9E1. 3 Thumbs Up!

Literally the same thing just happened to my washer. Lid was locked and had this code…. Unplugged the unit for a minute to unlock the lid. Shimmied it out tilted it back and the blue wire was rubbed/cut in half. Thank you for your video!

Thank you for your video. We have a similar model. In our case the wire overheated and broke midway not at the bottom connection. We could actually see the burn marks; not expecting this with a 1yr washer.

What do I do if the wire fell out of that gray connector? I tried stripping the wire and putting it back in there. Worked for a week or so? Can I just replace the whole connector? Part???

I got an F3 E2 code on a Maytag says pressure sensor code? Not sure what to look for

in the first place, I cannot open the lid...

@@TheFurrycup69 I'm sure you solved this already. But, for the next person, unlplug the machine for a minute and then plug it back in. It should unlock when you turn it back on.
