    Stumbled about your video today. Unfortunatley my chinese fan is one of those without a hole underneath the sticker. Anyway, I took my drill and made the missing hole myself and... it worked😃 Thanks a lot for your simple but very effective "repair" method🙂

    I worked in a computer tore in the beginning 90s, and there were the first processors that needed a fan on it, the Intel 486. It was an easy task to oil the processor fans, mostly without ball bearings, the company made some money by my work...

    I live in Norway so probably not the same anyways. But a sewing machine oil is great for this.

    Ouch! If you don't have any way of seeing the shaft/bearing, it might be difficult to lube yours, which is a bad design really =/
