First message of his we heard was about that far back also. Can't recall it's title, but we paused it for a week after getting halfway through and then came back to it. Life is smarter than us as we then in that week, saw someone we hadn't seen in 35 years, they literally said the exact same thing we heard him say four hours later after revisiting and unpausing the message and his first words were... the valley has to do the work!!! This friend literally said I should be doing Ted talks, but the valley had to do the work first!!! Been consuming his content ever since and have never heard someone who seamlessly offers the wisdom AND discernment, to give just enough "sources" from scripture, without being a zealot about the religion. This man is changing lives and anyone who isn't patient enough to put the work in and til, to then reap the harvest, is wasting time (the most valuable commodity) watching Love and Flip Flops 🤯💯🎯

I found Myron golden when I was homeless with my wife and kids, and a very dark spot. I was always an atheist, but listening to Myron Golden, talk about God in the Bible the way that he does has made me realize what God means to me and I finally found it and I have to give thanks to this man For changing my life.

This man gets it, he's actually lived through poverty. Everything he said he hates about poverty is the absolute truth. I've been living in poverty fr so long, it's an absolute horrible existence that I'm all prayed out over. This type of life isn't okay and I try so hard to get away from this bs every day working 10 to 14 hours a day on my own business.

This really spoke to me. I grew up poor and fought like hell to get out of poverty. Graduated from the University of Florida with Bachelor’s and got a Masters degree from UNF. However, I currently find myself making less money than I deserve and my wife and I live only 5 minutes away from the impoverished community that I grew up in and fought so hard to escape. I’m embarrassed and ashamed. This was the refresher that I needed. Thank you.

You’ve done the hardest part; getting your Bachelor’s degree, an achievement very little people accomplish. Next, make a plan, do a budget, pay yourself first (save and invest in the stock market), pay down debt, stay consistent and you will see results. You got this!

This hating poverty video is making sense! In some neighborhoods, among some people poverty is deeply embraced.

The big part of why our men and women are so divided today, especially in the black community, is how the gov't system only afforded assistance if the black man, was removed from the household. The most effective tool that's destroying of the black family.

15 minutes before I clicked on your video Mr Golden, I had been thinking how much I “DESPISE” not having enough money to live on more less to live well. Let me just say, this video was right on time. I retired 3 years ago after working with a major Insurance company for 25 years but I retired without a pension due to the company closing an office in 2003, me cashing in my pension thinking I wouldn’t work for them again and then that’s exactly what happened. I was rehired in 2004 in a different state and I wasn’t grandfathered back in. In hindsight that was a Foolish mistake, however, when you know better you do better. I will however credit myself with not being idle nor lazy and have created my own business online designing pillows, pillowcases & home accent pieces. My shop is scheduled to open September 2023 if all goes according to plan. Thank you so much for this video ( did I say that already) ? which made me laugh and want to cry all at the same time. Vodou (Myron said witchcraft but it's not the same) isn't Haiti's reason for poverty. It's the hatred from France, the U.S., NATO, Roman Catholicism (which is tied to Vodou), NGOs (Red Cross stole over $500,000,000 that people donated to Haiti for earthquake relief and spent it in New Jersey and other places), and all white supremacists that are holding a grudge to get revenge because Ayiti CRUSHED them in defeat to take back their freedom from being enslaved over 200 years ago!!! I hate poverty too! I was a single mom never able to take my son on a vacation, he's 27 now and I never took him on vacation. I was stuck on disability because of an ex whose parting gift to me and my son was Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I still struggle with it and more health issues related to the abuse. I still keep trying to get my own business going with extremely limited finances and little energy or focus. I do not believe I am to stay here. God has more for me, a lot more and I know it.

This is bar none the best finance channel you will find on KZread. I've reached a point of utter disgust with my current financial status. Living paycheck to paycheck is exhausting beyond words, and some friends around me are in the same sinking ship. I have never been more passionate to solve my financial problems once and for all, and even for my friends and family as well. "Self indulgence leads to poverty" is so simple yet cuts like a hot knife, and it's what I need to hear. I am enraged to be better!

Thanks for your wisdom. Have been deeply embarrassed after being extremely successful for years and having it all fall apart after being stalked and getting a brain injury. I grew up in a house with a horrible poverty mindset and always felt like a burden and wanted more than I could have. I grew up in a city I absolutely hated and most do because it's the hottest city in America. my whole life I have become SO angry and SO sad when im broke that I literally just freeze and don't do anything, don't talk to anyone. But what kind of life is that? What kind of impact am I having on my family? Who is coming to save the day? I hate that after being self sufficient for 9 years and (even breaking out of my own poverty trap at 23, realizing there was no way I could keep working in an industry that didn't pay it's workers) I am stuck here rotting away in the heat suffering from health issues because of it. I hate the fact that I can't afford to get the right medical care, live where I want, hell even my baby cat is with my step sister. It stops today.

You may not read this Myron - as believers we are meant to be a light for this world, showing love, grace, kindness, and compassion to all. We are entitled to have our preferences and opinions, but to say that TSA hires the dumbest people who aren’t smart enough to become CIA? Unnecessary and nowhere near what we are meant to represent. Wow, where do I even begin? This video has been a game-changer for me. I've always felt trapped in a cycle of poverty, feeling like no matter how hard I worked, I couldn't escape.
