I was wondering if you or anyone else knows how to bake a normal map onto an object that is considered an organic object, such as a person or animal. I usually have success with hard modeled things like walls or machines but on more organic like things the normal maps do not take to the model very well, especially going from hi-res to low-res, it becomes to distorted.

OMG this is very useful!!! I have watched a lot of tutorials and none of them worked for me but with your method it worked very well!!! thank you very much!!!

Thank you, if I import 2 models in .obj format at the same time on blender, is it possible to do this texture technique on the 2 models at the same time and then export each .obj separately with their textures? Thanks

maybe you can applied texture into one object first. then select second object, and link the material together.
