How To Escape Self Improvement Hell

How To Finally Escape The Never Ending Cycle Of Self Improvement
Free Worksheet: www.tobi-education.com/consis...
Affordable 1-1 Coaching: www.tobi-education.com/program
In this video I talk about the concept of being plateaued. Most people always have ups and downs, stagnating in the long run.
We want to change this, so that we either improve incrementally, even when we are in a rut, by changing our standards and identity.
Or we can change by completely making our goal as our baseline standard, which is the lowest we can possibly tolerate. This is much harder though.
I highly recommend working through the sheet, as working on it alone will make more connections in your brain and you will remember and think about this concept more often during your days, so that you can actually use it to improve.
I hope you have a great day.

@@Warren_Lifts Exactly man, I've been thinking about these for a few weeks. At the age of 23 I should be married or in a stable relationship, that love from my partner would give the the driving force to face my struggles as a man, the sheer thought of being happily married to a woman I love and have my kids with her will be my "release" in my difficult times I know the red pill community gonna come at me saying oh no you gotta build yourself, woman ain't everything, start semen retention bla bla but its all bullshit. Love drives and motivates men like nothing else.. But getting woman let alone being married in today's world is like shopping for a luxury car, and its getting even worse. Nobody wants a prospect, everyone wants a product. Back in the 60's an average worker could have a family full of kids. Nowadays both the man and the woman can have a job and still struggle to make the ends meet. This is the sad reality.

If you are relapsing, here is the key to stopping: Understand that your mind wants to to do it because it thinks it’s the same as the real thing. You don’t actually want to do it, you (the real you) has no desires whatsoever. Every time you believe that you want to/must do it, your mind has tricked it. I recommend reading a book called “A new earth” by Eckhart Tolle. Hope this helps you

For me the biggest thing was being able to forgive myself for screwing up. I used to completely hate myself when I would make a mistake after having made progress because my standards would increase. Very often it would lead to me having a mental breakdown and cause me to binge bad habits again. Literally just saying to myself over and over "I choose to forgive myself for my mistakes" during meditation has helped immensely.

@@Danila_02Yes, Dr. K wants us to embrace who we are and build a resilient mindset that stands amongst all curbs of life. With Hamza it feels like he just wants us to become his specific kind of what an admirable man is. This can work for some but it increases a lot of pressure that makes you feel behind if you don't have an online presence that allows you to have lots of passive income, not the cut physique he has, the success he portrays you should easily have, don't stop having "unproductive hobbies", etc.

The reason why highs and lows exist in the first place is because you base all of it on motivation,so my advice is to find a way that you can stay productive,by having little to no motivation, like: workout, but don't workout for 4 hours, workout for 1 hour or do your job,but not for 5 hours, instead for 1 hour, take a break and work later again...And always have some time for recovery, for relaxation, leave 4 or 5 hours just for that in your day,it will be the time you can spend without having to worry about being productive or unproductive, though I do not advice having bad habits in that time,do something decent lol..So my advice to stay productive is to know the human limits and find a balance between work and relaxation. The best person in the world is not the one that worked for the most hours in a day,he is the one that stayed consistent for years and had a bit of luck in it too,so if you can't maintain your daily routine for ,,forever",then you should consider changing something at it,life is not about a goal,it is about the journey,so if you don't enjoy your daily life, there must be something wrong with it,or so I see it

Instead of playing video games every day I will only play them in Friday as a reward and it will help me feel more motivated, because many people are cutting down on all things up to the point that they realize that they miss it For me, cutting down on these types of things one by one, little by little is the right choice, and also the best choice(at least for me)

The second method seems like a surefire way to get a burnout lol. Interesting as a theory but when nothing's ever enough and you always dislike yourself until you reach that ideal state which you will never reach, it's never sustainable. Eventually you're gonna hit a breaking point and fell to an all time low A string that's too slack will be dull and lifeless. A string that's too taught will snap. That's what buddha discovered during his early period of meditation

Progress comes from within. Only you can make the changes. What people dont tell you is that while you are determined in terms of your behaviour currently, free will can be cultivated as a result of a culmination of thought patterns and behaviours. This should terrify you. When it terrifies you is when you will make a choice: to receed into safety or to thrive on punishment. Only one has a future.

The thing about brushing teeth everyday that it is as productive as eating healthy food everyday because it is just your appearance. But the difference here is that you were told to brush your teeth everyday from when you were 2-3 years old. So it is a very well established habit in your brain. Most of the habits we keep doing at our low points are habits we did everyday in childhood and teen years

Tip 1. Keep your standards high & never allow yourself to completely fall off. Tip 2. Hold onto your pain, your high point is not your highest point.

I have some days where i act degenerate again, but after that days i Pull myself up again the feeling of staying on the grind somehow makes me happy . A big thing i learned to stay " motivated" is not having a Goal i know it sounds controversial but it motivates me much more to do the tging for the sake of its self.

In my case its similar but it's more so that I started feeling very empty and unfulfilled and went down the spiral again. Even though I'm working out, meditating and sleeping early etc. I will eventually reach a point for like 2 weeks down the lane where I start to feel very crappy since I've cut out the things that gave me satisfaction, it's not necessarily brain fog but it gets emotional draining after a while.

I get you, that was the exact reason for my recent downfall. But I'm thinking about not just cancelling the unhealthy yet satisfying things, but getting this exact satisfaction from the healthy things. I.g. watching crappy romance series all day (need of deep social connection) ---> actually going out to social events and talking to people. Yep, the second thing won't give you what you need quickly and it will be boring/hard from the start, but the reward is worth of effort.

The way i've stayed consistent is by doing daily task that have to be completed in a certain time frame or else i have to punish myself to be in check, 4 months into self improvement (Basically like solo leveling with how sung jin woo is reminded to do his daily quest, it works for me also so give this a shot).

Thank’s you so much to give us this Point, and that’S Right, the principal reason that we fall down again into the hole that we don’t want it’S because we conformate alot, but… What if we don’t do that and on the other what we would chosse to do the opposite thing? Like the anticonformartion a keep it up? It’S obvius that we are Not a working machine that can move the 24 Hour without stopping, but, that’S it’S Not an excuse to Not give an enforce, an preasure, cause that thing is the thing that at final of time, will change us complete, as the Person that we are.
