Eventually a way to generate a small sub-set list that is do-able in one day (calculated from said taks time details). So I'm building an application from scratch using Svelte -- Javascript backend & frontend. I discovered Svelte Tauri, which is build on rust that makes a whole svelte project very easily multi-platform deployment. To make the whole software an offline desktop application (and eventually should be easy enough to deploy an online version as well as an mobile version) --- Yea I know... Genuinely one of the most important pieces of American fiction ever created god I love that show
To be frank, South Korea is kinda on a Dystopian speedrun when it comes to forcing their children to study and get to a good school and university at any cost. The amount of pressure these children go through, isn't all that related to "Motivation" and "Drive", but rather to live upto the insane expectation their family and academia have from the students. They have to study even with less sleep, through sickness because that's the overall culture that's been formed in the schools. The children burns out, the private schools and private coaching centers (which they attend after finishing school in the evening) keep making money. South Korea has probably the highest rate of Suicide amongst it's young population (School and College students and young people in general). Being disciplined is fine and desire to change your life for better is very good. But let's not overdo it to the point that being insanely disciplined even at the cost of being crazy becomes the social norm in schools and workplaces. Nothing good is gonna come out of it. Well, we are already quite close to that speedrun in the US compared to other countries in Europe.

I actually think that this one in a month way of posting videos is very good because you can make: - better quality videos - don't have to force yourself to come up with ideas - you can polish the video to make it better because of the time.
a good hack i use almost all the time, is having a to do list and adding tasks I've already done to it. example, if i have school work to complete at home, but i completed some minor tasks at school ill add them to my to do list just to cross them off and gain motivation that way. also another thing that helps is to just start with the smallest tasks and gradually i wont want to do anything else because I'm already in a flow state

I think one of the biggest solutions I’ve found helpful is when you have for instance hw u have to do, and u really wanna get on ur phone, just sit there at ur desk without ur phone. u don’t even have to do the work, but just don’t do anything especially not getting on ur phone. Eventually you’ll “want” to do work, or at least feel less less motivated to do it. and ofc like everything it takes time and patience, with bumps all over the road

Just as a side note. Sleep is important. Don't do what south koreans do. You can be an expert in lots of stuff by also spending 8 hours a day instead of 18 hours. Plus, most south koreans do it with the purpose of pleasing their family/teachers. If you want to be good at something do it because you want to do it, not because others want you to do it.

1:48 It's worth noting that this isn't true by itself. In fact, we're facing a crisis where people doing lots of work is causing depression --- the polar opposite of motivation. You need to have some sort of reward for the work, whether emotional or otherwise (such as knowledge you're getting closer to a goal you really care about). You also need a sort of "fear" for what would happen if you don't do the work. I've found that this is why it's so easy to be addicted to social media. I knew it made me dopamine to see videos, so in a sense I have that reward even when the video just makes me angry. But it wasn't until I took a nearly whole day's step back and realised there was also a lot of fear of missing out, especially with politics.

Very good video! Thanks for not making it shorter or longer that it needs to be. I'm not distracted with the phone... can you make "become confident at talking is easy actually"
This guy genuinely produces some of the most helpful content I have ever seen on KZread. I think I am actually going to fix my productive from following some of these tips.
One of the best pieces of advice I have used is a done list. This is helpful to me because I like to use notion, an online platform, to organize my schoolwork. Since I don't have the tangible feeling of crossing it out on paper, i can click the box and drag it to the done list side. It's so nice to see your to do list get shorter and your done list get longer. But the biggest thing is to just do it. It can be anything, the task can be as small as you need since it will help you build up.
Motivation won't get you anywhere. It's a temporary feeling that can make you productive for a short period of time, but once that motivation is gone, you'll just slack off and do nothing. You need the discipline to do things when you're least motivated, regardless of how you feel. This is just plain generic advice you're giving that won't really help people in the long-term. I'm not saying you have to ignore your feelings when you have to do important work to do, no matter how you feel, but there will be moments in your life, most of the time, when you just can't afford to run your life according to your level of motivation. You just have to do things whether you're motivated or not and once you're not motivated you're going to go downhill because you've got nothing to stand on as you were dependent on your motivation/feelings, unlike when you're disciplined because it's always beneficial even in the worst of times when it really matters. It's not like people should go to the gym or exercise depending on how motivated they are. When it's time to exercise, even if you don't feel like it (there will be many days and most days you won't feel like going to the gym because it's difficult), it's even more important to go and start because it will rewire you to be more disciplined despite having no motivation. It will always lead to something positive in all aspects of your life.

You are not entirely wrong, but you also don't contradict whatever is said in the video. I will, however, disagree that motivation is not important. Doing things with no motivation will just cause you to burn out. It is indeed important to sometimes bite the bullet and force yourself to work in order to get the motivation and start the cycle talked about in the video. If you have no motivation - do work to get it and motivate yourself by telling yourself why you want to do it. This is literally said in the video.
Can next video be on being rich is easy, acutally pls

Love your vids! Thankfully you're a newer channel so binging all of them only took an hour or two. Would love a vid on how to get better sleep/a better sleep schedule, and maybe another vid on how to break habits/start good habits. Seriously you must be putting crack in these videos because you're a magician at simplifying things and making them seem super doable!
nothing is easy, actually. the burden of existence is a crushing weight which we all must bear until we no longer can

This is one of the best educational channels on youtube.
Didn't expect the grade A Under A reference. That unlocked a few memories. Now that I think about it, there were quite a few youtubers I watched just because I thought their accents were funny.
Please keep up the good work! You are amazing! Simple to understand, Good sense of humor, And very informative. Thank you. 🙌
good one . simple explanation , covering everything without wasting time
You are the most PRACTICAL man I've ever know
I'm glad i found this channel, even tho there isn't much video, i learn a lot that everything is easy :D
Thank you so much for existing❤️
Yes brother, your videos doesn't count as distraction instead they help change our lives for the better.
Thanks mate, this video is perfectly on time as I got an exam and a crafts project on 2 more days and I've been procrastinating
When I came across this channel I thought it was already well established with like millions of subs and then I see this dude dropped in 5 months ago with only 500k. U deserve more subs
Those videos are so good : ) It's clear, he doesn't repeat the same thing again and again, and the animations are very cool. Thanks
This channel popped up as I’m quoting MJ, trying to workout, and getting my shit together. I personally pray whenever I feel bad thoughts or emotions and let the prayers work it out. Thank you for the information :)
I was having trouble with this right now. Amazing timing
My cycle looked different: Work -> anxiety -> distraction -> more anxiety -> more distraction etc. rinse and repeat for a few years and you'll end up with depression. I am thankful that I actually figured out that there was something wrong with me and that I got help even though it took me way longer to reach out for help than I would have liked. What actually helped me was to start being honest with myself. I now track how much I actually do and use two to do lists. One for the easy tasks and one for the hard tasks so that whenever I lack the motivation to do the hard tasks I can just go to the easy tasks and do those. Sure, I won't ever do all my hard tasks but I will do a lot more than nothing.
You're amazing thank you for finally making a channel. I can sense that you're quite class aware and a revelotionary not to mention that beautiful brain you have
This video is kind of spelling out what I already knew and I'm thankful for it!
I have exams in 4 days and have really been struggling to grind study. You’re a lifesaver dude
