How To Win Friends & Influence People (in 20 Minutes)
This is a summary of Dale Carnegie’s amazing book “How to Win Friends and Influence People”
Why do some people make friends easily?... people just like them, you like them.... but you're not sure why.
Others don’t get noticed, don’t have many friends and find it tough to talk in difficult situations.
A book written almost 90 years ago offers all the tools you need to:
-Make people like you
-Win people to your way of thinking
-Change people without causing resentment
-Build lasting friendships
Not endless pages of theory, but actionable strategies you can start using in your next conversation.

I learned all this by myself. It took 20 years. The hard part of reading a book about anything is putting it into practice and making it work for you.

I think its important to recognize that there will be people who also take advantage of certain kinds of kindness and then have expectations of you to treat them with the same level from then on without reciprocating the energy with you. sometimes its better to just keep to yourself.

i think no matter how hard it can be, how much easier it is to close yourself off and not trust anymore, it’s generally worse for you. You don’t have to continue that kindness to rude people but if you’re not open because of some peoples rudeness, you might miss out on the important people in your life
Was thinking to read this book from 6 months. Read somewhat and forgot. Glad you posted the video now it will be fun to watch without any knowledge about it.

One of my grandfathers learned How To Win Friends & Influence People from the man himself. He became a traveling salesman of the book back in the 1930s, and criss-crossed the nation while he did it. Went on to live to a ripe young age of 99! Watched America grow up, he did.

How accurate is this summary?
I liked everything about this video including but not limited to overall presentation, art style, structure, quotes and how well you connected the theory to concrete examples. If only I wasn't so lazy, I would make cue cards right away. I'm probably going to re-watch it many times. You did a great job at making the contents of the arguably old book fresh and engaging.
Great Production Quality, wish he could be my editor in my weekly book summaries... Great work of art
Nice!
I've learned so much thank you :)! Might this be a guideline of how to shape a better community space if this happens to be all of the people? Not just the rare one that tries to change the person's personality of itself, but imagine it starts small and suddenly spreads like 🔥. Loved this vid, might look for more 😊
