Hey, great video. How about importing FBX files that have embedded textures? I used the online 3d viewer from your video and it shows up texturized but when I import the same FBX file in blender it has no color or texture?? What can I do for the FBX import to activate the embedded textures? Thank you!

For some reason this isn't working for me when uploading to Mixamo. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Do you just have to switch to Copy and tick the icon, or should that be done in addtion to putting the FBX and source textures in the same zipped folder?

@@what3233 I found that using Cats can atleast temporarily fix textures but it's not a given it'll embed them all the time.

I got a 3D model who’s textures is not packed in how do I apply everything.. there’s FBase, legs, arms, body.. then there other textures with the same names .. but a portion of the 3D model character looks pink. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi ....I download a game map , than i use it in blender . The textures was DDS file , but when i export out that game map in other programs was not able to read all that DDS file format ....So i was thinking , dose blender have an option in export to convert automatic all that DDs textures in png or jpg in time of export ???? Better will be jpg or png , because almost other program use this type of file . Someone told me that , i can convert those textures one by one in a texture converter , and that will be possible if is just a character , but if is a full map with over 1000 texture will be not the same ......

When I copied and exported with the embed button to Mixamo, my pants mesh just showed up as an invisible black silhouette. I'm missing something

I used nodes just like this and texture paint. I'm only getting basic color in my FBX. Steps are not working for me.
