How to eat BIRYANI healthily ? | Dr Pal

Ойын-сауық

Discussing how biryani can cause fatty liver causing liver damage. Fatty liver is one of the silent epidemics. Silent damage can cause cirrhosis, liver cancer, and liver transplantation. I am discussing the pathophysiology of how fatty liver is formed and how we can eat biryani in a healthy way.

During Covid holidays, I got fit after practicing Intermittent fasting, but the problem is as an Indian middle class its almost impossible to get fruits and veggies daily and for more than a year it becomes difficult , you either starve without even knowing or else you lose up on proteins... Best way is..Eat whatever you like, just limit the portions, Do exercise...No Food is bad, as of my knowledge the amount matters...Before you judge my statement, am a medical student too..Lost 12 kgs during covid.

But cucumbers, banana and lime. Occassionally add in some pineapples, papayas etc. They are hella cheap, along with some whole eggs for protein. I've been on this diet for quite some time and it's helped a lot with the right amount macros and micros.

Got my mensuration cycle three days ago- I faced a lot of craving for sweets, calorie counts -- just like bigil movie - cuppu mukiyamm.. calorie mukiyamm made me hesitate eating but can't control it... Had little 😅 with ur insights on intermittent eating window. This video made me realise the reason my body seeks for and helps me to plan out things better for all my upcoming mensuration cycles. Thanks a lot - I crave anything that sounds sweet during my periods !!

😅. We need to have nutrition as a compulsory subject in our curriculum from the junior classes itself. So, that there are lesser conflicts related to food in families . We have grown with so many misconceptions about food. I have stress trying to convince my Mum about wiser food choices. She tells me that they have grown up perfectly OK. Forgetting that she or her siblings had either diabetes , hypertension and heart disease ... the misconception is it's all genetic and comes with age . 😅 Thanks ,Dr. PAL for your very informative videos interlaced with humour.

I am from Malaysia and no wonder I noticed that the Chinese here hv their dinner by 7pm. They rise early, hv their lunch max 1pm n dinner 7pm. That's why they hardly hv any belly fat. Well I cook briyani or ghee rice on alternate weekends using ghee.

I have one question for Dr. Pal. Amazing work! I live in Dallas. I had a friend in my class who died of a heart attack while in class. I was shocked and out of words. Nothing was running through my mind. He is 25 yrs old male from India, AP/TL. He just came for his masters here this august(fall). 1. He wasn't looking fat or had belly fat. I'm surprised of how can a 25yr old die of a heart attack? 2. I couldn't sleep that night because I carefully cared for my health. I almost lost my confidence about good health, blah blah.. anything can happen to anyone. I don't know. He might have some heart-related issues. I'm not sure!! Please tell me something, Dr. I'm hopeless!!

I learned lots of health benefits through your videos. Thank you for that. But this video broke my heart. Not only broke my heart as well as I feel guilty for eating biriyani yesterday 😢. I'm following your fasting method and eating fruits when I crave for chocolates. Only 2 weeks I start doing all this change, but trust me Dr I've lost weight and i can see a major difference in my body. I walk 6000steps every day. I drink 500ml water bottles × 3 or 4 perday. My body feel light. Between lunch and dinner around evening 3.30 4 I feel hungry at that time I eat a fruit like mango, grapes strawberry etc. I have habit of eating handful of nuts when I watch this video I have second thought on that. Please put a video about eating nuts. I completely stopped eating biscuits 😢and sweets. Thank you a zillion times for the right and clear advise. God bless you and your family ❤

I follow this tbh. Dr. Pal if anyhow you read this just give a short reply whether it's a good way or not.

Great and very motivating...i started my journey at 112kgs and now at 90 in 8 months. But I've hit a plateau I think. So if you could share your routine ( food / fasting and eating window / fitness regimen) it would help. Thanks! and congrats on your achivement. My target is go down by another 10kgs.

We as family are vegetarians and eat veg dum biriyani occasionally like once in 6 months and we enzure to add lot of big size veggies and they are cooked just apt. One thing I need to reduce is the paneer in Briyani after watching your video

Dr, Explain us about the healthy snacks to control the cravings. I read that , weight gain can happen while cooking also. Means hormones would secrete which lead to weight gain. Is it true ?

Sir, Very Good Morning. I often hear your speech and it becomes my habitual to that extent it deserves. Okay. You are really guiding all. But Your voice/speech comes out like a Stream. It is liked by the People all over The World. No Dobut. But Whenever highlighting anything Related to Health, A Steady and Slow method of Oration will Fetch more Results. Being Tamil, Oration has More Effect. This is my Findings. You Just Ignore It ,if it is Wrong Sir.
