I have to bleach it for about 5-10 mins to open the shaft then throw this in. I have to or else my fuggin greys ain’t havin it

It's not as harsh though. when I watched this video a lil over a year ago I went ahead and tried it and my hair was fine

@@TheRealLadyFatal You’re just applying the dye that bleaches it and deposits color in one step though, but yes, you absolutely are still lightening your color when you use this. Mine got three shades lighter.

Finally a realistic video! Awesome! I have used this brand before but I mixed it with a purple and that is what made it darker than I wanted. Thank you for showing what colors you used! :) God Bless You!

@jasminejohnson I was fighting with the same decision as well.tgen I thought emerald green...but as im sitting here commenting I remembered that back in the day they had a cherry cola color Wich would be a nuetral between red and blonde.

Ok. Saw a girl today with dark hair who had the best red and she told me go online and look up the videos. Dang, your video was a nice and easy intro and you are cute personality too. Don’t know you. But it looked really nice. Next time run the results a bit longer. In diff lighting too. Just wish I could have seen more of the results. But thanks this was good!

Just a nice tip for anyone 🙂 Developer levels 10 =maybe 1 lift 20= 2lifts 30=3 lifts 40 to 50/60= 4 to 6lift (I believe) Now I seen the back of her hair didn’t lift as much as the front did. If she wanna lift that she could use developer 20 with the same process. Since that box is nun but a highlighter🙂

Giselle Meque The lift is how light your color is. For example, with bleach, level 1-4 lift may give like a brown, level 4-7 an orange yellowish, level 7-10 may give just a nice yellow blonde. Those aren't exactly correct but that is how lifting works.

Makita Ray No problem lol. I did cosmo in highschool too and i also just left actual cosmetology school last month. It can be self explanatory but for someone who might not do hair a lot of our terms can be misled. Btw i actually have magenta in my hair right now, just bought more so i can re-dye my whole head because it looks how hers looked in the beginning of the video.

How much developer should I add if I use only 1 tube of dye??

The developer has the peroxide in it. The same product I use in my hair only I use a 20 developer because I use it so often, it's a little less peroxide then the 30. Very cute though I love it!

Also since I have the "basics" of diy-ing my own hair( for dang near 25 years 🤫🤯) I really did watch this video on 150x speed 🤣. Your personality still hit, and I got the intention of your upload in the first place! The glove wave @ 9:16 had me actually commenting on a decade old video! 🤣 ALSO the hand scoop and goop method with red hair dye at your bedroom desk??? 🤯 I'd bet to this day , if you still own that thing, it has a stained accident from this recording! I have found tutorials on 'precise' measurements of color mixtures for certain brands, such as the exact 2 you're using rare... I have white girl hair (born again virgin, I let it grow out 😉) sooooo... 🙄 Results will most def vary... I'm going for bright AF but the cooler pink fade out, rather than that icky orange from just using the red.. 💋💋

It’s for dark hair so it’s unnecessary but it could work for you

In cosmo school & I just learned this😭so easy... just whatever color you want and the developer instead of going through the whole process with powder and developer
