Yes finally someone doing it right. For more intense red using magenta mixed with red is the way to go and i love that you used a protein treatment after. I see so many videos and people don't use the right colors and expect vibrant results and they skip the protein treatment after. Awesome video.

@@Agoing2places you can use just red with a 20 volume. Volume is the amount it will lighten your hair. so if you don't want to bright 20 should be good.

I've done it this way before and it is soooooo much upkeep.

what was the developer to dye ratio? it looks amazing :)

Try color opps on the ends because the ends are still black, when i tried to dye my hair from black to red i had hot roots & my ends were just dark dark dark red but still having black, i bleached the ends then it turned out all red then i went over it with all the loreal hicolor hilights to make my head all red

The color makes your skin pop..so much better than black💖

ME TOO i tried tiktok and so i came to youtube haha. im getting the stuff today with my mom , my hair is basically black and i have no idea what to do to get it as a red that will actually show up like i dont want a dark red i want it bright😭 HOW DID URS TURN OUT?

Yes I’m wondering same as have some grey but most is black dye wearing off .! I’m torn between an ammonia free bleach process or just a colour remover though from past experience they’re pretty weak and lightest it’ll go I’d very dark blackcurrant . Which is lovely but I’d like it also to be red ?.. yours is a beautiful shade ( video creator) stunning and I’d be happy with that but I also do quite fancy it going red red proper / even if a slightly dark red - at some stage just for the hell of it for a phase 😂🎉 . I might start with the dolour remover but I’m seriously scared of the bleach process which will I know work better . But I’m scared it’ll burn me

Thats exactly wheat im thinking. Once i go red like this - imma need maaas makeup every songle day. Last time i was too bright and had putgrowing curly pixie looked like ronald mcdonald. Sont wanna agaain and ny nose and cheeks tend to be red. My moms were too. Bp doesnt help i neeed a tan like all yall w this red hair like thisbtan conplexion man i want iiit!!!

I'd use Color-OOps color remover at least once, maybe twice if there are a lot of layers of color.

90 bucks is good considering the amount it costs to go to a professional

I might suggest using Vaseline right near your hairline and your ear for the next time you dye your hair yourself, and do it before you color because the color will get on your ear and it won’t be easy to come off. That’s what I learned. But hey! Gorgeous color on you!! 🏳️‍🌈❤️✨🔥
