@@taylorhenry1390 I truly wish you the best of luck with driver's ed. And my best tip would be to honestly just go for it and drive. I know that probably doesn't help whatsoever, but to be honest with you, if you don't conquer your fear of driving early on, you may never be able to and that wouldn't really get you anywhere. But just like he said in the video, get to know your car before driving, because that will honestly make all of the difference.

Just an update today was the first drivers Ed class and it went well!

Learning to drive at 32 years old and this has been the most informative lesson. Sadly I’ve done numerous in person driving classes and still have to research how to drive. I appreciate that you explain these little things and detsils. Driving school seems to think we already know the most simple tasks like even turning the car on and unfortunately i know absolutely nothing. You are heaven sent!!

Every driving class we focus on sonething different however they seem to really expect you to know the most basic things but thats just not realistic. My parents sadly never taught me, and i never stole my parents car like most teens did back then lol, so i just never learned. Like many people out there I had anxiety when it came to driving a car. I'm 20 years old and still don't have a driver's license. But this 18 minute video relieved me from my stress and fear of driving a car. Thank you Sir I really appreciate that you helped me with a fear, that could of impacted my life in the worst way.

My main fear of driving is just that since there is so many different things you have to pay attention to, I feel like I will eventually miss something because of how much I am stressing out trying to pay attention to everything and fail. I think I will probably get over it because when I was driving recently it felt a little better than before, but it will take a bit more practice to fully get used to it. This video is definitely very helpful though :D keep up the good work.

One VERY IMPORTANT tip: when getting gas, if you want unleaded, read the labels on the gas pump and MAKE SURE you are using the correct nozzle. The unleaded nozzle could be any color: black, red, blue, etc. (in my area the unleaded nozzles are black). Make 100% sure you aren't accidentally grabbing the DIESEL or ETHANOL (E20, E30, E85, etc.) nozzles if your car needs unleaded. (In my area, the diesel nozzles are green, but they could also be several other colors). If you aren't 100% sure, go inside and ask the clerk. This can be a very expensive tow and repair bill for your car if you accidentally grab the wrong nozzle and fill your unleaded tank with diesel. It happens more often than you would think. And the repair won't be covered by the warranty, of course, and may not be covered by your insurance. Another clue that you accidentally grabbed the diesel nozzle is that it won't fit inside the hole on your unleaded gas tank, although it's still possible to hold the nozzle to the hole and fill the tank with diesel. The unleaded nozzle will fit ALL THE WAY inside the hole, deep into your gas tank. If you DO happen to accidentally grab the wrong nozzle and fill the unleaded tank with diesel, don't drive the car. Immediately call a tow truck and be towed from the gas station to a repair shop where they can drain and clean your fuel tank. Driving the car will only cause significantly more expensive damage.

I literally had this happen, but for 15 years after getting my license! I only drive like 2x after getting it and then just never drove again. In my 30s now and am going to start lessons to get back on the road. Anxiety is a real bitch.

I want to thank you and your driving videos so much. I have anxiety and so I constantly worry about my driving skill. But watching your videos, and other videos on driving helped me pass my license test on my first try! I'm still a bit nervous here and there, but I am now watching these for review for when I do more general practice so I can be confident on my own!

How are you? It’s been a year

I’ve been practicing how to drive with my dad, everything is ok but I just get scared of driving with other cars and pedestrians. I struggle with turning as well lol.

SAME! he put me on the road AT NIGHT one time and i was so nervous because there was a truck behind me. i did it but i probably wont drive at night for as long as i live XD jk my problem is stage fright and then realizing how fast the car can move is nerve-wracking. the steering wheel feels looser when you accelerate so you feel out of control. i think im fine with turning and parallel parking tho

Thank you for being so specific about things and actually explaining. My parents didn't ever tell me nothing, but the obvious stuff I already knew like turn here and press the gas/brake pedals, but never told me how much I should turn or how I should do it which doesn't make for the best learning experience for a guy who can't fathom how much a pinch is when cooking.

I just came here to say thank you for the lessons, the tip and being great. I used every tip you gave me and learned to drive in a week.

Thanks to you and your channel, you’ve helped me pass my drivers test today. Thank you!

Some ppl out here criticizing him for either the smallest things such as the volume of his voice OR him forgetting something important AND THEN IMMEDIATELY saying the video was "bad" 🤔 he's trying his best to help out as much as possible WITH what he CAN remember. I'm sure he appreciates the CONSTRUCTIVE criticism but there are some comments that are more judgmental and hateful over some mistakes that immediately undermines the rest of his important advice. He's speaking loud because at times traffic IS loud and I'm sure he'd rather be loud than to not have people hear him. If he's "too loud," just lower the volume instead of complaining...it's called COMMON SENSE. Also, he's ONLY HUMAN just like those negatively criticizing him so OF COURSE he will make a few mistakes of forgetting something, ESPECIALLY when he's doing it by himself without the help of another experienced driver to add on. That is why you ASK QUESTIONS and DO RESEARCH MULTIPLE TIMES. The most obvious thing is to take the help that is given to you but DONT rely on ONLY ONE VIDEO. There's a driving manual, there are articles, other videos, etc to learn from and ADD to this knowledge. One source won't always have ALL the possible information on something as important as driving. Why bite the hand that is feeding you? Be grateful that there are people like him who are using their platform to help others rather than hurt. To this man, thank you for your video. For the most part, it was very helpful but as others said, you did forget to mention certain things that could've made the video a bit more helpful. The advice you were able to remember was good as well. Your annunciation was golden and the volume was also loud enough to hear you very well. Overall, this video was helpful to the 32k ppl that liked it, including myself.

I'm so glad this exists! Wish KZread was around when I was learning to drive. Though him constantly looking to the side to talk to the camera was giving me hella anxiety! Someone else said it best. Being a good driver takes years of practice. And unfortunately more and more drivers and driving aggressively and unpredictably. Though, I'm sure if you're looking at this video you're already on the road to being a great driver! (😉Pun intended)

My parents rarely taught me to drive and didn’t start caring about my driving skills until I was 18; they just got tired of driving me around. The way they taught me just worsened my anxiety and because of that, I didn’t want to ever ask them to help me. So I I appreciate this man teaching us. I learned more from him in 20 minutes than my parents in 3 years. (But I appreciate that they want me to learn some way somehow.) this is where the young adults who are “unteachable” come to learn.

I just drove for the first time in a parking lot at night. I don't have my license, I honestly thought it'd be harder but it's not as bad as I thought. I'm currently studying to get my license right now. For anybody that has a fear of driving it's all in your head and if you don't lose that fear you'll perform worse come test day.

I have no one in my family to teach me how to drive better and my friends live long distance so I can get my license because everyone works and always busy. I hope you get your license this year! I think you will and I’m rooting for you! I’m also 20 and I have had my permit since I was 17 and I kept renewing it. My parents briefly taught me but they now won’t let me practice in their cars and not as focused as I am with it. I can’t afford driving school right now so I’m currently relying on this and friends to help me get my license because I feel ready. I also hope I will get my license by this year, fingers crossed🤞

This guy's ability to talk and drive at the same time is on a whole other level.

With you I don't have to go to a driving school paying thousands of dollars. I'm learning how to drive from your teachings. That means I can get my own car and start driving during non rush hours just to keep practicing until I get good at it. I don't have license but I do know i have to learn how to drive first. Thanks for your teachings.

Okay so I’m about to turn 24 and have a huge fear of driving, and it’s embarrassing cause everyone else comments on how I’m 24 and still only have my learners permit. But I’m really happy to hear how there are some others with this fear. I hope I am able to drive soon with confidence and less anxiety of thinking I’m going to crash and hurt someone 😥

You have nothing to be embarrassed about you will do it when your ready don’t be so hard on yourself I feel the same way about driving too as well so your not alone a lot of people have this fear it’s very common you can do it just keep practicing and eventually you will get the hang of it

I'm 20 and still only have my drivers permit. Anxiety has prevented me from learning how to drive sooner, but I'm going to push myself to learn now because I'm embarrassed of having to tell people that I can't drive yet. I'm so scared but this video helps

The fear probably is more related to messing up and getting yelled at than getting injured, but the encouragement does really help

Already passed my road test last year but these videos are still big help. He says some important things that every driver should know. Btw to pass your road test is best if you start driving on your own for months. I tried with a driving school two times and always failed because i was never allowed to drive myself. I decided to buy my own car with my permit and got bf to drive me to test location and tada i passed my road test in my car. I drove myself anywhere alone and when i got the instructor in it was like i was giving her a ride. 🤗 good luck everyone.

I bought my own car with no licenses just my ID but you need to put insurance on it and you do need someone with an ID for that. However u can buy a car without a license.

That was my plan at first! A friend was going to give me her car for free but it started having problems with it so I couldn’t anymore! My mom was going to insure it for me and her roommate was going to give me lessons but luckily I’m learning in her car at least!

Watching this video has helped me get rid of some of my nervousness. I start my lessons next week. I'm ready but nervous.

I really appreciate this video! I got my license months ago but never drove yet and I still don't feel like I fully understand how to drive so this video really helped with reassuring me the basics. Maybe I'll give it a try soon :)

Recently my parents have been pushing me to start driving. So I can pass but I am not going to do it.

i like how happy he is it makes learning much better.

I am always anxious when on the road leading I then start to cry and think I can’t do it and that I will just be a failure at this and having no one to teach me just makes it worse so I really thank this dude for teaching me the basics that nobody has taught me

I have my drivers test tomorrow! Really super nervous about it, but this guy is actually helping me out a lot....as someone who doesn't have parents to support them or help them at all I really appreciate this man taking the time to sit down and teach us how to drive.

That can also depend on the car some cars have very sensitive pedals and skme dont, it just takes getting used to
