  I had my first time driving with my aunt. I was a little bit nervous and awkward. Normal feeling, but it mainly has to do with the first step of actually letting go of the breaks part and pressing softly on the gas. But this did help me more clearer at the basics of a car. Tomorrow is my first time driving with my dad. So this helped nerves a lot.

  I think of it in terms of probability of sudden objects being in the way in the parking spot (10%) vs in the driveway (90%) and visibility in reverse (30%) or in forward (100%). It is always good to have more visibility (forward driving) when heading towards more obstructions (driveway). Hence reverse parking and forward driving out seems to be better. Just using some approx. numbers based on experience. don't beat me up about those.
