How to do an invisible vertical seam with garter stitch

This video will show you how to make an invisible seam on garter stitch. This technique is used when seaming up side edges. We have used a hat as an example in this video, but the same technique can be used for sweater sides, snoods and anything else knit flat.

I totally agree with R K Ripperger !!
The most successfully invisible seaming I've seen. Like R.K.Ripperger, I was initially confused as it looked a bit haphazard, then I realised it's garter stitch and when seeming every row, one will look loopy (wrong side knitl) and one won't (right side knit). It's really 4 steps - loop, loop then bar, bar.. Thank you.

I'm shocked that this seaming looked as good as it does.. The needle was sometimes going under the bar be]tween sts and sometimes picking up the sides of sts. Sometimes skipping over alternating 'bars' and sometimes going under every correctly spaced rows/ridges. This demonstrator needs to practice her skills much more before presenting a technique. I will not be Following any other vids by this person.

If you know garter stitch, you should understand her technique.
