A lot of the Midwest has been hot and dry, and drought is hard on food plots. What can you do about it to still feed deer this fall?
Without water it's tough to get that beautiful, lush food plot you're hoping for this fall, but all is not lost. There are still things you can do to get tonnage on the ground for deer to help them this fall.
Josh has been terribly dry for weeks and months now, it's showing in his ag crop, as well as his plots. So what do you do? Josh runs us through his tips for how to make the most of a bad situation.
All is not lost. You can still do something. And while other hunters and habitat managers may have given up because of the lack of rain, you may be giving the deer the best options as we head into the hardest time of year.
