Thank you both so much for this video. I watched it during my warm up and then put it into practice for my deadlifts. Immediately noticed the improvement in stability, leverage and mindset by not spending too long at the bottom. I got confident and managed to hit my previous 1RM for a triple. Thank you!

Good video, text book description followed by a visual example on form. I like that you explain "engaging the lats". A lot of people overlook this key part of (engaging specific muscle) any lift.

Worked out my whole life....only started deadlifting the past 6 months. Made more gains in 6 months than the previous 30 years of training. Legit. 6 months, 2x per week....5 sets of 5

I just started deadlifting, I can get it up fine but 70% of the time I mess up on the way down. Thanks for the drill I will defo be trying it out

Even George Leeman uses straps so even if you are a competitive powerlifter its fine to use straps. Just make sure to get some grip work in.

What do you think of a double-supinated/underhanded grip for non-competitive deadlifts?

Can you also point out Larry's bracing for multiple reps? Does he only brace once? How is his bracing sequence when using straps (in case he ever uses them)?

That crap does not matter. *Everybody* needs to be over midfoot, but not everybody's shins are going to wind up in the same place at setup so don't get hung up on that nonsense; just get it midfoot.
