A detailed at-home haircut tutorial - by a hairdresser!
Today I'm showing you how you can cut your own hair at home (without ruining it lol) + how to cut layers as well! I had a lot of damage that really needed to GO, so I trimmed a few inches off the ends and added some layers to get this long layered bob haircut. I really hope this video was helpful! HI EVERYONE! Thank you so much for watching this video and helping it get to over 500,000 VIEWS!! I can't believe it!!! I recently posted an UPDATED DIY HAIRCUT VIDEO which shows a few new techniques + how to cut your own curtain bangs! You can watch that video here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fqqDwbKyaNbKn5M.html A lot of you also mentioned how you wished I had showed the back, so I made sure to do that in the updated video lol. Hopefully that helps! Again, thank you so much for all the love and support. It's been so amazing to hear from all of you who found this video helpful in cutting your own hair at home, and I've genuinely enjoyed reading and replying to every single one of your sweet comments! ❤️ With Love, Ariel

Perfect tutorial! I have been cutting hair for 30 yrs and this is so refreshing. The so called professional ones are ridiculously confusing as if cutting hair is rocket science and their outcomes are rarely as nice as yours!

I cut my hair today following your step by step video, it turmed out beautiful. I watched tons of how to cut your own hair videos, but yours was the best. Because it is not only layering, it is cutting and layering. Thank you so much! You are very helpful and I really appreciate it! ❤️

I tried it and it turned out great. After no haircut for 1 year due to COVID, I'm so glad I took the plunge. Thank you so much!
I've been cutting my own hair for over a year now but never did layers because I couldn't figure out a good way. Today I was looking at my hair like wow it needs a trim and could really use layers. Your video came up in my feed and I finally feel like I can attempt layers. Thank you for this simple and beautiful example!🙏🏼🌈💖
You hair looked beautiful! I've been watching so many videos on doing your own haircut at home & this one has honestly been the best looking one so far. It didn't seem as complicated & turned out so great. I hope to give it a try very soon! My hair is currently almost to my waist.
Thank you for doing this video. I haven't had my hair done all year. Due to covid I didn't want to go to a salon. My hair was down my back and had so many dead ends. I watch your video last night and was scared to cut it. But I woke up this morning and did it. 😊My husband said it looks like a professional did it. I love it!!! Thanks again for your video!!

Great job explaining! Love the style! I get so nervous cutting the front sides! Always afraid it’ll look like a mullet! Lol
Did a great job I try and do mine like you. Thanks learned a few more tips about the front layers
What a great job. It looks good. Cut your hair every 2 months on a waxing moon. It grows longer and more luxurious you don't have to cut a lot. Just dust all what you just did. I did mine all over on a waxing moon and I already have to cut the top again. It grew so fast. I only just found out about the moon thing last month. It really worked.
Done this and actually made my hair a lot better during these hard times with the lockdown. Could you do a tutorial with some hair plait braids? 😊

I would like to see the back of the hair. Every time I cut mine, the back is shorter in the center. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. :(
@may142004
3 жыл бұрын
It's because the hair in the center has further to go when you bring it around to the front. Hers is probably shorter in the far back also but the layers help hide it.
