HOW to CROCHET DIAGONAL BASKET WEAVE STITCH - Stitchorama by Naztazia
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
You can learn how to Crochet a Diagonal Basket Weave Stitch in this DIY tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This is the diagonal basket weave stitch from my Stitchorama. It creates a nice diagonal or criss-cross basket weave look with the stitches. This sample uses medium worsted weight yarn and a size H (5 mm) crochet hook. You can change colors every row or just use the same color. It's a little tricky at first, but once you get to the second row you'll see it's pretty neat!

Donna this stitch pattern is beautiful I’ve never seen it before. It would make a great snuggly blankie and multiple colors would be real pretty. Thank you for sharing.

Great stitch. I've never seen it before. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks for video! After many years of promising a scarf for a special man in my life I have finally found a perfect pattern for him :') my first thought was that it looks a little complicated for me so I've avoided even entertaining these kind of patterns so far but to my surprise it is quite easy!! Unfortunately to the untrained crocheters eye I think it looks easy enough but hopefully he'll appreciate the fact that he can't/won't be able to do it himself 😅 thanks again naztazia! You never let me down with your easy to follow videos 💞

I think a border would be just fine. Complicated or simple would work!

@@naztazia Ok thank you
Does this pattern look the same on both sides?
It’s a beautiful stitch. Thank you for the great tutorial. Can you do it in the round for a beanie? Thanks!
@naztazia

Every stitch can be done in the round. Even if you have to work from the inside of the hat to mimic "turning the row."

naztazia thank you!
Do you think this stich would work well for a blanket? Specifically with Bernat blanket yarn?
@naztazia
5 ай бұрын
Absolutely! It will create a nice texture with that yarn, without things being too complicated. I'm pretty sure the stitch pattern will work quickly and also show up nicely too.
👏👏👏👏👏

Hello. Good day. May I ask if you could create a tutorial for Moroccan Trellis crochet, please. Thanks so much.
