No matter how many times I screwed up the first part of the basket weave, you remained patient and never got mad when I started over until the third time I figured out what I was doing wrong. Lol. Thank you so much for your tutorials, your teaching skills are amazing. I am finding myself heading to your channel for tutorials and inspiration when figuring out my next project. To teach as well as inspire, two admirable qualities....what a gift you are to the crocheting community! Thank you!

After trying three times, I was so frustrated with this stitch. All my double crochet posts are leaning to the left! You are so calm, have such a peaceful voice.....I could listen to you all day! And I have been up all night trying to get this stitch right. I think it would make a lovely scarf. I will keep trying, but it may be hopeless? Thank you for being you! I wish you were my gramma❣️❣️ LeeAnne😘

Glenda, I've subscribed to your page after watching this video on the stitch of the week #238 simple basket weave. You made it look so easy. I was able to do this stitch and learn so quickly following your video and crocheting along as you worked. Thank you so much! I've looked at a number of your stitch of the week and have found I can do so many of them. Thank you. Now for my question. On stitch #238 the simple basket weave, if I wanted to make a large blanket about how much yarn would you recommend? I know you can't tell me exactly but if you can give a questimation that would really help. And thank you again for all your videos. So excited to crochet more. ☺☺

The stitch itself isn’t copyrighted. The pattern for the blanket made with the stitch is copyrighted though. A tutorial on the stitch can be done. You just can’t use her pattern. There already tutorials on that stitch. I wish I could remember what the stitch is called other than fan stitch so it would be easier to find. So many designers rename the stitch and call it something different from what I’ve known for the last fifty years. It’s annoying but smart because it sells more patterns. I hope you are able too find a tutorial. It’s a pretty stitch.

Hello Debbie, I am so sorry about the back ground noise, I live right beside a major highway. The noise is terrible, plus the ramp to get on the highway is right in front of my house and I do believe everyone thinks it is a race track, It is so very loud, in the summer it is even worse with motorcycles racing down the ramp. I am going to show how close I live to it in one of my future videos. I think I am only like 50 feet from the road. There never seems to be a quite time on this road. I hope the noise is not to bad, it is very frustrating trying to do my videos. Thank you for the kind words.
