Hello! I've been crocheting on and off for about 5 years, but these past few months I've gotten way more into it, and have tried to do more complex projects, and have fallen totally in love with the art! I've made a few (admittedly ugly) amigurumi toys, a couple of hats and scarves, and an amazing granny square blanket. I love your videos, I recently discovered your channel and I love your video tutorials. I always feel like I learn so many tips and tricks when I watch you, and I love your style! I followed this amigurumi pattern to practice changing colors and work on my tension, and it came out so much cuter than I expected. Thank you so much for this adorable Christmas pattern!

I would've loved to have these type of videos when I was learning to crochet amigurumi toys years ago! I still find them so helpful because you can always go back and review a tricky section or slow down the video to understand something. Thanks Elise! ❤ 🎄 🎅

Ok, Merry Holidays! I have been trying to figure out the magic ring (yarn version) for a while now, and what you just did, (I made it 1:37 into a video over an hour long and you are already my new favorite KZreadr) - I just totally got it. For what it's worth, I'm not a big fan of instructional videos. I would have soooo gotten that ring thing down ages ago if I had a a properly written/edited book to look at, but everybody's got their own thing, ya know? You crochet Christmas pigs, some people eat bacon and potatoes on for Christmas. Some people make Blood Sausage.... that's what makes the world go round. 🐽🎩

For these little guys I used a cream based blush with a hard bristle paintbrush. Works well and lasts quite a long time. There are other things you can do like use crayon, watercolor and pastel chalks! 🐷🎄❤

I have done it before and the way I do it is to bring up the new color, slip st into the first st for the color change, chain 1. The chain acts as the next stitch. You'll skip the slip stitch on the next round. Hope that makes sense! 🧶🧶🧶

This vid shows how to change colors in the round and not have the mismatched ends of the change. Very easy to do and it looks like 1 full round for each color. Really easy. Love the pigs-so cute kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZWqGu82xmNTFf84.html
