Anne Marie from the french west indies 🌻💐🦋🕊💖🌸💝
When I saw the second color palette I thought what in the world is going to become of that? It looked awful until you worked your magic! What an awesome piece. You are such a great artistEmma!❤️
Understanding more about Color choice/palette. Thank you for clear, simple explanation!!!
I know this is two years old, but I have been watching a lot of your videos/tutorials and they have helped me so much! This one especially. I love LOVE mixing colors. I almost use it like therapy, but love watching how you create these palettes. You just make it look so easy.
Can't tell you how much watching your videos has meant to my learning.
I am 69 and new to water colour. Learning SO much from you - thank you for your great tutorials and you humour and your gifts of sharing. Must say I love the peony - of all the ones I have seen, yours is the best - I can almost smell it!.

The way you paint flowers is simply amazing. That is the best peony I have ever seen done in watercolor. The anemones are beautiful in the colors you chose. I learn so much from watching you. Thank you so much for all the tips as you paint. They are definitely appreciated. 🌸🌼😍
Me encanta tu delicadeza al dibujar las flores 🌹
Beautiful flowers. I’ll give this a try sometime soon. I have to get supplies first. Thank you for your time to paint for us. ❤️
Beautiful technique. It also proves that there is no need to have two jars of water. One is good enough.
Oh! And then I see this water colors summer flowers & bouquet over here on the right. Hippy! Oh I'm so excited.
Your work and instruction astound me. You have a natural talent! Thank you for sharing! My husband and I get so much out of your videos.
You are my favorite teacher. You got me started on something I really enjoy in my retirement. Keep the tutorials coming.

I love the way you begin with detail and colours on every video. You make it look easy and possible and then I believe that I can do it and then I do it!
Ça semble tellement facile quand c’est toi qui le fait 🙄. C’est vraiment très joli 💖
Loving your tutorials - helping to keep me sane in lockdown! I'm learning so much and really starting to enjoy watercolour. Lightening my touch in the ways you describe has improved my work no end. Also appreciate that you don't spend ages on one thing, it keeps things light and playful. I don't always keep up, but that's the joy of KZread, you can pause and rewind!
Me too- best peony ever. Everything about this is beautiful! Thank you!
Excellent. Creating palettes will keep harmony to the painting. I love your flowers.
I have learned so much from your tutorials. Thanks to your lessons I can see an improvement in my work with watercolors. Thank you a lot!!
Loved the color palette idea for floral arrangements! Pleasure to watch you Emma!
Love how you made colour swatches before you started, great idea. It encourages colour mixing which is great. I've loved your purple & hookers green mix, it's a beautiful colour. Thank you as always. You're FABULOUS 🎨🤩
Loved this one! Really liked how you showed us how you’d mix colors to match the palette. Thank you!
It’s incredible how you support me. I’m so full of thanks. I learn so much about coloring, technique and composition. Just follow you and I do also open an inner source of creativity in myself. Thank you so much. Greetings from Germany.
Emma thxu sooo much for this. I got this right away. Beautiful.
Emma, you're the reigning queen of florals. I learned peonies from you (the "C" curve suggestion is what worked for me). Another lovely, feminine painting. You should alert Princeton as to your videos using their Snap brushes. No one else does (I think). Fab job! Frances Turano Denver, CO
Wonderful to watch you make these flowers come alive. Especially liked the color swatches. I will be trying that for sure.
Just beautiful. Your brushwork and colors are gorgeous! I am particularly drawn to the anemones and berries with the stylized leaves. Wow. Thank you.
So helpful. I'm so bad about planning out colors before I start, I usually just wing it and it doesn't always turn out great. These would make great greeting cards, so I'm for sure going to try them and experiment with the color mixing.
These are beautiful, Emma! Lovely color pallets and flower compositions! Thank you for sharing these!
Your hands and nails are so beautiful I must say. And of course, a tutorial worth rewatching.
Beautiful. Love the peony especially.

All the best✨
I never touch my hooker's green. I'm going to try your mixing ideas. Thanks!
Darken green with purple? Thank you, I've never tried that, great tips
Hi Emma, I haven’t painter in years and want to get back in to it, though I was never accomplished. I like your methods and style and will be rolling along your path. I bought some cheap paints and supplies to get back into the swing of things. Question: I saw you squirt paint into the pallet cubes. Do they dry into blocks like pan paints? Or do they stay on the wet side? Also, my paint tubes have been in storage for years. Will they still be usable? I don’t remember the brand. Thank you.
You could Mix Sap Green with a brown and it makes this nice deep green. 😉
Emma, so informative and interesting! Are your paint colors listed under your tutorial: the paint colors you have in your palette?
I'm new to water color and love your color pallet!! 💗 I see you have a link to tubes of color.... do you just fill your trat with it?
Great
Where can I buy this metal shelf you have on the wall ? It seems soo cute!
you are so good
You are Wonderful. I paint in oils and wanted to try a different medium. Watercolour has always fascinated me. If you don’t mind how long have you been painting. And do you think a person who does oils could learn watercolors as well as you do?
