How to Create Procedural Cables in UE5 - World Building Plugin
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
The Cable Tool is one of many tools in Dash that helps you create environments in Unreal Engine 5 easier than ever. In this video, Jonathan goes over how you can easily create a procedural cable and then use all the convenient settings in the Cable Tool to customize it to your liking. The settings include radius, gravity, the different modes, and much more. As it is procedural, the cables will adjust when you make changes in the scene, giving you a non-destructive workflow.

Great idea, noting it down! For now, what you can do, is assign a nice material to the cables, and then scatter flags or lights on top of the cables, with some changes in the settings in Surface Scatter you can definitely get a great result with hanging flags I think! :)
Awsome Videos

Yes I think that would make sense! Playing with the settings and a nice material should certainly give you a nice result! If you don't already use Dash, you can get a 30 day trial from our website :)
can we replace the cables with let's say a static mesh, chain ?

Not exactly sure what you mean, could you perhaps send a picture/video of the issue in our Discord and we can make sure to give you proper assistance! :) And for your information, Dash does not work in UE4, only in UE 5.0 - UE 5.3. :)

Sorry, not sure exactly what you mean, could you re-phrase? Do you mean you would like them to be dynamic with collision?
