    Excellent Tutorial! Watching this video reminded me of watching Bob Ross; Just breezing through, making it look effortless. It leaves one feeling like, 'Great, got it.     The shape will align even you scale. as long as the shape are align from seam (edge) to seam. it will be a close polysurface.

    Great. One question - when you moved the rectangle which was created by the uv crv, on the left and right sides, to align the arrayed objects to the edges, did this change its length? Would this affect the flow back onto the polysurface?

    the object will be stretched to fit to the target surface when use flow along surface unless you check the rigid option.

    another nice on demand tutorial. thank you. to precicely copy the sample item edges could be be filleted and even better, hexagons could be surface blended and patched first, then arrayed and flowed, for a very smooth result as shown in the picture.

    hey PJ! thank you for another great video. when I do boolean difference it doesn't work as it works for you.. it keeps the inside of the first hexagon instead and deletes all the rest... any idea why? how can i solve it? i aligned (top) all of them including the surface to 0, so this is not the problem.. Thanks!

    It sounds like your object is not solid. I also have few videos at Q//A session explain why boolean is not working.

    no. any texture will work. as long as the seams are aligned.

    when I boolean difference the shapes from the UV'd surface, it just deletes the solids and I'm left with the wireframes (of the array shapes)... If I boolean intersection instead, it works on some of them properly, but not all of them. Any advice?

    @@violette4494 you have to make sure the design is match on both end when it is flat. so it will be matching when it flow back to original surface.

    What you just have to do is, to clic right at the corner. You have to be precise on it.

    you can move the control point on the corner as shown in video. Make sure the smart track is on so you can align to the midpoint of the pattern.

    If that is the case, you can work on ONE pattern directly on the vase and use polar array.

    When you did the Boolean difference it was done instantly, but when I am doing it, it is saying Boolean difference in progress press escape to cancel and nothing is happening after that. I don't know what to do

    When I edit the video, I will cut the waiting time. I don't think you want to wait for my computer running. If your computer running slow or nothing happend, you may run out of ram space or hard drive space.
