You can use the same command in both Rhinogold and Matrix as well.

the one twisted spirals pipes blend into the other spirals. i need them to be separate.. how can i keep the separate?

You can only twist in certain degree. If you twist too much the shapes will overlapping to others.

Thanks for the video but the lines do not show when I make 2D only the base of the polygon showed. Is there any way that can show the whole shape when making2D? (I am drawing 'a piece of cream')

you may want to make sure the correct options are selected on Osnap. If there are nothing to snap on. you may want to extract a curve from the surface first then you can Osnap to the curve.

All the designs are beautiful. But when I try to print the second design on a 3D printer, it shows me an error on the top part and closes the surface. Can you tell me why?

It is hard to tell what may be the issue without seeing the model. but you may want to check on your Osnap. if you are snapping at the correct points when you build the model.
