This is beautiful. It’s supposed to be a rainy day tomorrow and I know what I am doing with some of my indoor time! Paints, here I come!
It's so neat that there's so much freedom for interpretation. Love it!!
So pleased to see you finally came back up on my feed. Even subscribing and pushing notifications this stuff doesn't come up sometimes.
So happy to see landscapes!❤
Love the fall vibe.
Love this painting! Beautiful fall colors and misty, foggy effect.😊

Lovely fall painting….my favourite season
Thank you so much. I learned a tremendous amount of techniques watching an listening to you. In fact, my fingers were itching watching you paint!
Lovely. Hello Fall!
You are a great teacher and I have learned so much from you. You inspire me. Thanks to you I am making little greeting cards for friends and family. Wish I could show you.
I have frequently wondered how to paint foggy scenes--thank you for showing us how!
Absolutely beautiful. I love the way you teach , thank you .
Thank you for your tutorial of the Autumn landscape.
I just love the mix of textures in this tutorial and your advice to play with the paints to achieve these is encouraging. Beautiful fall painting and tutorial! Thank you!
Hi Ellen lv this I will have a go lv Ann ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I've been following you for a very long time now Ellen but don't think i have written to you before...I.just wanted to thank you for all that you do! I've been a professional Artist since the pyramids were built...lol actually since the mid 70s ...and I always am looking for other Artist to become inspired by ...and you have done this and have helped me so many times! especially when I get stuck! So again thank you Ellen so much for everything you do for me and countless others in the creative community!...Many blessings, Rus from Bucks County Pennsylvania ❤️🖌🎨🤓
Excited to try this misty background and colorful fall foreground.. Thank you for your detailed tutorials.
I'm not sick of summer! (but love your tutorials)
You have given me confidence to take photos of flowers in my garden and try and sketch them before painting. I do struggle with sketching they never look like yours 😀

Compare only to your own work, not the work of others, especially not the experts.

For fun….try sketching with your non dominant hand and just splash some paint around. It will become your own 😊

Make your artwork “you”. When I quite trying to make it “just like yours” it reduced my artistic stress. Ellen, and other artists, don’t expect you to complete a piece like theirs. Find your own style and use their work as a reference. You will be much happier with your final result. You will create your own masterpieces. 😉
I live in South Africa therefore we are going into Spring. I am glad to leave the winner behind. 😀
I tried this as a mini and was really pleased with it. Thanks so much, Ellen!
Yay ! Can’t wait for fall. This summer has been brutal here in Texas 📌💸🪓🥵
Thank you for your time! Love watching and learning - diffusing technique!
One of my favorites ❤

Reminder that water color gets lighter when it dries. With water color it is good to start light and then make it darker little by little.
I love that you show your palette, and how you mix stuff, helps a lot!!

Love it.
I love how you have this messy looking pallet and come up with extraordinary colors. Meanwhile I’ve tried those paint boxes with tons of every color and none come near to what you use.
Love your inspirational chats which give me the "I can do this" when I paint in watercolor. Thank you for your explanations of tools and technique. I used to be intimidated by watercolor however, with your guidance and tips, I can create some pretty good paintings for being a beginner. You are truly the best!
Love it!
