Very helpful
It is called Khali taali in every 16 matra Taali on 1,5,13 Khali on 9
Good video.. Kindly share 1 palla of teen gun of 5 1/3 matra .. Would be really great!
It's really good to watch you teach the syllables and beat of Indian Classical music. Loved the concept of Tali and Khali in beats. Good to see you train the ears which is very important when you learn Taal. Wonderful efforts!! Keep going.
the no-clap or the khali section adds an asymmetry to the structure of teentaal making it 1-1-0-1 Else there would be no way to distinguish a 16beat teentaal from four 4beat quarter notes

by doing 1101 it allows the reciter to know when the sum is, or start of new cycle.
Hello sir. I was hoping if you could show how to do Ekgun Dugun tigun chaugun altogether in one cycle
Having difficult in doing tigun
I got lost on syllables when you got to the 3’s anyway to write those out So I can follow along. Also in the first video you did the clap & then started from the ring finger counting. But in this video You did the clap & then started from the little finger. Does it make any difference ? To start with ring finger or start with little finger. Sorry that may be a dumb question. Just want to learn it the correct way. 🙏

It does not make a difference starting with the ring finger or starting with the little finger. For the Tigun (3's), the syllables are still the same syllables from Teentaal. The only thing that changes for each layer is the rhythm and frequency.

Because sir their is 0 that is khali so we don't clap
Not clapping means khali hope so it's right
the significance of not clapping means khali.
why you didn't clap in Dugan tempo while it is clap in teen taal?

Because the base tempo does not change. The clapping is in thah while the recitation is in dugun. Thanks for watching! -Team Das
