Is there a difference between the Dha and the Na syllable in rhythm or meaning? Or is it regional?

The difference is not based on region or rhythm- "Na" and "Dha" are played differently and produce different sounds.

I'm very much interested to learn, playing Tabla. How much is the average cost of a set?

It varies widely depending on where you are in the world as the instruments are handmade and often imported from India. We would suggest asking around and trying to find someone in your area who either makes or imports them. -Team Das

Ostad it would have been much better to have indicated the notes and show where the accents are. What is the difference between this cycle and a 16-4 with a Half note, quarter note,quarter note, half note in every bar?
