I’m allergic to eggs. Have never cooked one in my life for any reason. The Wife just came home from the gym hungry and I offered to make her an egg purely because I knew we had some in 😅 Quickly looked up “how to make a perfect soft boiled egg” and absolutely NAILED it following this vid! This is great, thanks! Also, a very practical way to boil eggs while camping etc. as you only need a little bit of water and the cooking time is so much less - you don't need to wait forever until a pot full of water boils.

Correct Thats the professional regulated time for soft boiled breakfast eggs, if you cooked them for 6 minutes any egg after the first would still be cooking in its own heat and become stiff and then hard.
