582 subscribers, now you have 583 with me. This video is a pearl in terms of explanations and How to Play League of Legends. As you said, so many people like to show stomps where everything is perfect for them. I really loved how you went into details, how you break down every move and every choice you made. I hope you will keep your motivation, cause that is quite a lot of work and, since the video is a bit longer than the 10 min ones you can find all over YT, you won't attract as many viewers, which can be a bit demotivating. Your channel deserves to grow. :)

Thank you so much, these sorts of comments mean a lot. I try and put a lot of effort into my videos because when I was trying to learn I found it hard to have people explain things to me in the appropriate amount of detail. I'm growing slowly but I'm going to try really hard in 2020 to keep growing, thanks again !
Really appreciate this video. Explaining your thought process really helps me to apply these tips to a number of games as opposed to just this specific matchup.

Yes more of these! So much insightful value
Hey Coach Curtis, good sh*t bro! Watched your guide whilst doing an hour on the bike. Been playing Fizz for a few years, and although mechanically I've gotten better, I do dumb sh*t like give loads of shutdown gold and die trying to dive them under the tower. Your video has demonstrated some of the fundamental flaws I make, and I can't wait to implement this new info into my gameplay. God Bless bro!
Awesome guide!!! I noticed at 10:05 (the Gnar gank where you trade flashes) if you hop off the staff/reactivate E immediately -> Flash, you could have killed Gnar. You wouldn’t slow because you reactivate E immediately, but you’d land the E damage also be in auto range if the E isn’t enough dmg for lethal
@Yamuleth08
3 жыл бұрын
That's not possible, only E FLASH with the huge range+slow is possible
Thanks Curtis, that's a lovely guide. I'm watching it from the standpoint of learning how to play Rengar in the jungle and I see that a lot of your points apply to my champ as well. Thank you, great content!

Plat 2 Fizz OTP here, tnx ma always looking to improve and learn how to deal with annoying laners such as vlad or malza and such and just learn more about the macros and micros, very helpful video and like you said I loved the fact that you showed a game in which you loss cause its nice to know that these things happen even in challenger when you get mega fed but there's just nothing else you can do in spite of your roaming or whatever, cheers and keep it up.

This was super helpful, hopefully you make some for other champs. Keep up the good work
Very nice and helpful tips. I'll try Fizz once again 😁
Really awesome video! I just picked up Fizz and this helps so much with laning, trading as well as roaming. I think I'll rewatch it a few times. For me, this is the perfect content. Really in depth and informative about all stages of the game. I'll check out more videos, but I also like short tip videos, quick mechanics or trading guides. Not sure if that si what you enjoy doing though :D

It's really helpful how he doesn't just show stomps as he says. All KZreadrs show stomps because of course, it is a good image, but loses definitely show much more than stomps/
Great video can’t wait to start relearning fizz :)
Hello, I rarely comment on KZread but really thanks for this vod. I've seen your channel mentioned on reddit and you got a new sub. I'm watching a lot of vods but this one was really well done and easy to follow :) See you in the next one! I'll eat your guides ASAP :D

One question about the video! Why do you pick attack speed over adaptive force for your runes?
@CoachCurtis

@@Vyperium Personal preference, adaptive force is also fine. Sometimes I find the attack speed helpful for thinning waves and weaving Auto->W's into my combo.

@@CoachCurtis Hey, and also wanna mention the fizz lvl 2 strat. Gonna try that straight away in my next match, sounds very cool actually!
Thank you for the thorough commentary! It's really helpful hearing what kind of thoughts you have during the game. What do you think about the importance of attempting long-range ults vs. jumping in first and ulting at close range?
@CoachCurtis
4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for tuning in Sophia :) I very rarely go for long range ults unless they are CC'd or pinned against a wall or something. It's really not worth the risk since it's so crucial to hit it in order to actually burst people

Hi, I am fizz main in plat2 (700k points). I have actually tried PtA and electrocute is so much better. You can take PtA, if you are laning against tank (like galio), but you must remember -you are not oneshot machine with PtA-
I'll be surprised if you respond to this but why do you wq when u first engage rather than q+ AA+w it would trigger electrocute sooner and more damage faster right?

What do you think about 2 or 3 points in W early for trading?
well done

Really good video man and really knowledgeable, just curious, would you say not buying Mejai's this game was a massive mistake?
@CoachCurtis
4 жыл бұрын
I very rarely buy mejais in general in higher elo games since people are so good at shutting you down and focusing you for bounties. But in lower elo you can definitely invest in mejais if you are very far ahead
what u think about minion demat on fizz i saw dopa take it on em
Hi coach im a fizz main currently at p2 and i dont know if u know the player Mango Fish? He's a challenger one trick fizz and he goes zonya lucidity first build. What are your thoughts on this? When is this build good or bad?
7:25 isnt 2 points Q good for example with syndra or ahri once you have E for defending from a gank? if vlad would have 2 points Q and E would be worth or am i wrong??
@CoachCurtis
4 жыл бұрын
I think it really depends on the champ you are playing and also the level of threat from the enemy, if you aren't versing an early ganking jungler you can get away with much more. But for champs like Ahri/Syndra you are right, you don't really need to skill W if you don't want to at lvl 3
Thanks bro! :D

Coach can you do a new fizz commentary with the new items ?
I would love to see you commentate a game where you do badly to highlight the kinds of mistakes that high elo players make
23:41 i would have kept pushing the lane. Why would that be a mistake ?
@CoachCurtis
4 жыл бұрын
In soloq when you see fights breaking out it's good to start running to them to clean up or come in from the side. But I actually have 2 options.. 1) continue to push top and ping them off bot OR 2) Just ping on my way. It really depends on your read on the situation.. How long will the fight last etc..
Could you tell us more about the champ-select? What made you pick Fizz and when would you have not picked him? I know you have one or two videos about that, but a couple videos could never catch the complexity of it iI believe.
@CoachCurtis
4 жыл бұрын
Maybe I can start adding into my videos, but at the moment for my videos I just pick the champ I want to make a video on at the time. This is something I can do again in the future tho
@maximiliankrusch636
4 жыл бұрын
@@CoachCurtis I would love that. When you pick up a new champ, you often do not have the knowledge about the different matchups and in what champions not to pick your new champ, thus I'm kinda afraid of trying new champs.
@CoachCurtis
4 жыл бұрын
@@maximiliankrusch636 That makes sense, but honestly it's better in the long run if were to understand WHY a champ is bad into another champ. Yes it is easier to just trust me, but it'll help more by being countered . Even on a smurf acc or something
This feels like i'm taking a tutorial at UNSW
I will play Fizz now
Can you make a video about Champion Pool? I'm going to become a mid laner, I've been watching ur videos and I just loved it, I play since season 2 and my max was Diamond :( Can you make a video about a good champion pool for beginners?
@CoachCurtis
4 жыл бұрын
I have 2 on my channel check them out :)
pick him in the character select
Now look at this
Sort of stopped maining this champ because my team ints in half of my games and playing him just got unfun .still a good champ to play against mages or something though .
@CoachCurtis
4 жыл бұрын
I think that you can still hard carry games if your team gets behind by roaming effectively, but it can be hard against heavy frontline
Anyone notice Caitlyn getting 4 Doran's swords? Is that challenger meta or something?
Maybe a dumb question but what should you do as an assassin (talon for example) if the enemy laner pushes faster than you and you don't have time to roam ?
@CoachCurtis
4 жыл бұрын
Well if you are in a lane where the enemy keeps pushing the minions into you, you need to either hold the wave on your side and set up a gank OR trade aggressively onto them to chunk them and force them to base OR use the wave thats bouncing out from your tower to push the wave before a canon wave and then roam because it will take the enemy a while to clear the canon creep
why are both adc's buying 4 dorans blades? i mean I get how they are really worth early game for their stats but aren't they wasting too much gold?
