In this video I'll show you how to remove the intake manifold for cleaning and how to put everything back together. This is a time consuming and messy job with lots of frustration involved but it can be done in a day pretty easily.

    No dramas. It's one of those things that's a massive pain the first time, but next time round it won't seem so hard. Although hopefully you don't have to go in there too often.

    Good to hear you got it done. Is a bit of a pain but having done it once I think I could do it pretty well if I needed to. I'll leave mine for 100k then do it again to see if catch can works. Do you notice a difference?

    @@TheBrowneTown defo noticed a difference, found 3 intake bolts undone probs due to thr corrigation ive done up north karajini and down south. Seems to have a bit more up and go from a standstill to 100. I have changed to hard pipes and an ATI intercooler aswell so that can of contributed to it. Theres 0 lag now when taking off. Almost like driving a petrol car. Attcking mates ranger in the next couple weekends too.

    Mate get a Egr delete cable from diesel boss only $65 ebay. One of the best things ive done on my 2015 Ranger. No more carbon mixing with the oil to form that black gunk. Better response from quicker turbo spool up. And measured around 10% better fuel mileage.had on 2 years been flawless.

    I actually ordered a spare thinking it was missing and the new valve and motor also didn't have an O-Ring, so I guess for whatever reason they don't need it. Not sure why though as I've seen other vehicles with the O-Ring.

    No, I don't have an o-ring on mine. I also ordered a spare egr motor and valve. The valve spring wasn't operating as smoothly as I'd like. Giving me a stuck closed code. And no o-ring on replacement part either.

    Weird, not sure why some do and some don't. Mine is 2015, maybe 2015 and later don't? No idea to be honest.
