I watch your videos all the time but do not usually comment . I agree with you 100% . I am in it for the long term as well . A friend of mine saw a vintage card the other day in a PSA 7 , that a gum stain must have reappeared on . He said it looked terrible .

Great video, appreciate you taking a stance on card cleaning. You are 💯 correct that most, if not all, of the more heavy handed card cleaning is done for short term financial gain. The fact that it's hidden from the grader and ultimately the end buyer is the biggest issue. Disclosure is the key to fixing the problem. Honesty, is unfortunately, not something that a good chunk of the "hobby" posses sadly.

Drago was an awesome surprise! Love it. Third way should have been using the satin trunks to wipe it.

I completely agree with you, brother. Card cleaning is all about greed, you're absolutely correct. It shows a total lack of integrity and honesty. Hopefully PSA has accurate and reliable methods to detect foreign cleaning substances.

I think I'm gunna create a grading company that grades the quality of the slab (not the card). Then I'll slab the slab with it's own separate slab grade label, maybe I'll team up with SlabMags!😂LoL

Lightly cleaning your card should never be an issue chemicals erasers or anything else is a completely different issue.

What happened to buy the card not the grade? I’m not spending 3X on a PSA 10 of a card that I can get in a psa 9 for about the same price as one in raw condition. And a lot of times you can’t tell the difference between a 9 and a 10 anyway.

What if I use my forehead to wipe the microfiber on it?
