Pulled a Griffey Jr. Heavy Lumber out of the 1st Blaster box I opened.

i pulled a cowser golden mirror from a fanatics series 1 box, so i ordered 3 this time around.

Awesome video as usual. I love these breakdown vids you do. You hit a nuke on this one. Series 2 was looking Blah and Topps really spiced it up.

Thanks for the heads up about hanger boxes! They were sold out of cases by the time I got your email but I snagged a few solo boxes.

You had mentioned about SPs and relics from hangers. I pulled a Josh Jung Major League Material, Jackson Shourio SP and Kyren Paris Golden Mirror from the hangers

Thanks for the Video again. I opened 5 hangers last night and pulled a Heavy Lumber, True Photo Variation, a #/799, and 7 non numbered parallels. Series 1 Hangers were juiced, Series 2 looks to be the same.

I'm not a huge baseball fan anymore, but I do generally buy 1 or 2 formats of every Topps Series set each year just to check them out. This video was incredible for someone like me who isn't too familiar with the product. Thank you so much for this!

Rather save that cash for the chrome

Thank you so much for the breakdown! After this video I was committed to finding hangars. I found eight at a nearby Target and four at a Walmart. I found another place that had a couple dozen hangars, so I bought eight more. I'll be ripping all twenty soon. Hopefully, I will get something great!

Thanks for the breakdown! It helps to quantify things a lot more. I love the Megas for the foils of the 1989 set. Early on I pulled a Willie Mays orange foil to 25, then got Barry Larkin in orange foil as well. Only other one I got was Anthony Rizzo in a gold to 50, but I have a nice stack of the normal foils, and pulled a ton of the base 1989s and have almost completed the set. I luckily found some hangers online at Target last night, limited to 3 at a time, but got 3 Megas, too. Nearest Targets to me are each 90 minutes in 3 different directions, and hate paying that extra 5 bucks at WalMart. The Bowman blasters I got there did produce some nice hits, but that 5 buck difference was a bit too much. Now just to bide my time until that arrives. My Jumbo was pretty good, True Photo, Aqua Mojo, City Connect Relic, 3 gold, one each Aqua and Green foils, a Silver Slugger to 299, Baseball Stars Auto, but 3 Ellys inserts and an Elly Mojo Refractor, as well as Jasson Dominguez. Also did get pretty much every major rookie outside the SPs. Figure I got an average Jumbo. Hoping the incoming Megas delivers another Mega Stars; my first one got an Acuna to 75. Was amused when I saw no odds given for those. Still chasing a Heavy Lumber.

I just pulled a red Mother's Day Eguy Rosario /50, a hot dog parallel, a royal blue color match of Rhys Hoskins, and some decent rookies from my first blaster. I had the worst luck with Series 1, but things are lookin' much better so far with Series 2

Yeah, it's funny how that works when you're not opening cases full. My hanger had absolutely nothing it in, but the blaster I got my son had a golden mirror.

If you had to estimate the rookie SP what would be your best guess?

I don’t like that Topps produces a zillion sets. I do like that have multiple formats for Flagship with each being slightly different. I’m not against buying a FAT, a Monster, a Fanatics Blaster, a Retail Blaster, a hanger and a hobby just to see how it all plays out after seeing great breakdowns like this. Maybe not multiple boxes of every format. 😂 Cards have proven to be relatable to the baseball I watch with my daughter. That’s a dark green spreadsheet cell of value to me.

Got a hobby yesterday and 2 hangers today and the hanger had a short print Jackson Chourio. Hangers are really straight hobby is just too many cards

Just bought two hangers from Target after tax just over $14 each. Best pull ever for me. 1/1 #450 platinum Gunnar!!! 89B2-10 Henderson, no number but online only 1? 89R2-CA game used memorabilia CJ Abrams!!! Blake Sobol #521 not blue border but reflects-is that Royal Blue? A yellow #553 Yamamoto, with two yellows in each hanger! Base cards: Noelvi Marte, Heston Kjerstad, Jordan Lawler. I hated the saying hangers are bangers but sign me up and give me a t shirt.

I tell ya what, the last few years I’ve cared less and less for flagship. So much of it gets made, so many parellels, and they just never seem to hold value long term. Nowadays I feel like Topps chrome is the way to go for the base rookies of guys.

Does every player in the set have a True Photo Variation like they go a gold mirror?

What is the series 2 cards that are rainbow looking with circles of dots in the background?

With inclusions of Holiday, Yamamoto, and others... what's the point of having an Update Set? Are these cards classified as XRC, or actual RC's?

The hobby box was probably the most disappointing rip I’ve done. It was very lackluster. The mega box is the best imo. Tons of fouls, special inserts etc. nice numbered cards. What I like is the less good cards you get ends in a better card at the end. We love the monster boxes.

Kinda wish I had bought two hobby boxes instead of one jumbo…

why does adding more useless parallels make the product loaded? Most of these new parallels added to this product besides the SSP Mirror Golds are mostly worthless.
