@mvmracing If I were to do this for someone I would probably do it for a little of nothing honestly lol Somehow I enjoy doing it 😎 If they're on the car or they wanted them polished also then we would have to discuss a price. And that depends on how bad they are to start

Nice! I have a Mazda CX9 with aluminum and clear coat that has peeled off and the aluminum is all black and pitted so I'm going to be using a disc sander/polisher and progressively finer grit discs to clean it up and re-clear. Wish me luck!

Thank you, I found this video to be very helpful. I have Eagle Alloy wheels on my wife's 2002 Silverado. I just replaced the rotors and brake pads on the rear, & I was wanting to clean them up before I put the wheels & tires back on!

Thanks. Good ideas. I have some caked corrosion on my Aluminum Jeep Wrangler TJ Rims. I'll have to try a plastic scraper and probably some degreaser and cleaner to get it. Finish with Aluminum Brite. Thanks for the ideas.

I figured steel wool would work. I’m working on some gmc wheels right now. I’m decladding some 6 spoke wheels to put on my Tahoe. I want that sport suv look to it. I used to be painter. And we would use steel wool to sand molding. We could get to all nooks n crannies

That fine Steel Wool is what I was missing, rough spunge wasnt cutting it and think the Wire Steel Spunge might scratch it. Thanks bro

I picked up a 2015 Honda Civic with only 28,000 miles, great little car, but came with winter tires.. A friend just got rid of a 2003 Lincoln Town Car, and gave me the 16" wheels for summer tires, same bolt pattern, and 16 is fine. need cleaning badly, so thank you very much

Thank you for the video. Do you think a wax or something similar added to the aluminum for protection would work? I used aluminum bright and noticed it stained right away. Using on a semi truck fuel tank and rims.

If I clean them and want a good shine, I finish them off with mothers aluminum polish.... It's a lot of work, but it provides a good shine

Dude this is a great video. I was trying to find how to clean my very stained aluminum OE wheels on my 95 S10. There u were Roi with the answer!! Spray on some ceramic wax coating and it protects and keeps the shine

@@YaBoiRoy just a tip, it would also protect your raw wheels. Especially if you live in a state where winters put harsh salts and chemicals on the road. You don't have to swap your wheels and worry about damaging the finish on the rims

That's why I hate aluminum wheels I buy the one piece not welded rims chrome. I will pay what ever for them to.its hell to keep them polished I have a guy that worked for me in my shop that's all he did was polish wheels and 18. Wheelers. A sat of rims like you doing he would charge 500$ it's a lot of work to get them to look like chrome and keep them like chrome

That fine Steel Wool is what I was missing, rough spunge wasnt cutting it and think the Wire Steel Spunge might scratch it. Thanks bro

I picked up a 2015 Honda Civic with only 28,000 miles, great little car, but came with winter tires.. A friend just got rid of a 2003 Lincoln Town Car, and gave me the 16" wheels for summer tires, same bolt pattern, and 16 is fine. need cleaning badly, so thank you very much

Thank you for the video. Do you think a wax or something similar added to the aluminum for protection would work? I used aluminum bright and noticed it stained right away. Using on a semi truck fuel tank and rims.

If I clean them and want a good shine, I finish them off with mothers aluminum polish.... It's a lot of work, but it provides a good shine

Dude this is a great video. I was trying to find how to clean my very stained aluminum OE wheels on my 95 S10. There u were Roi with the answer!! I also looked at your video about your GMC work truck. Man you have great imagination & unique ideas/style. My S10 is my work truck and daily driver. I think any brand is fine. I pick the ones I used up at bumper to bumper but I'm sure they all use similar brands

Spray on some ceramic wax coating and it protects and keeps the shine

@@YaBoiRoy just a tip, it would also protect your raw wheels. Especially if you live in a state where winters put harsh salts and chemicals on the road. You don't have to swap your wheels and worry about damaging the finish on the rims

That's why I hate aluminum wheels I buy the one piece not welded rims chrome. I will pay what ever for them to.its hell to keep them polished I have a guy that worked for me in my shop that's all he did was polish wheels and 18. Wheelers. A sat of rims like you doing he would charge 500$ it's a lot of work to get them to look like chrome and keep them like chrome
