    I had been trying to get the housing off by just prying on it. I almost broke the plastic. Thanks for showing the correct way to take it off to replace the light bulb! I appreciate your video! Thank you!

    Glad you like them! One shop in my town is a $100/hour now. I'm sure that will continue to go up over time. They are also making many of these fixes more difficult. So I'll do my best to keep the videos coming and showing you what I've learned so you can do it yourself!

    Yeah, the rates are getting crazy even for more basic stuff! I guess they’ve got to pay for those fancy new shop buildings and employees

    Thanks for showing the clip falling off even if it was by accident. Mine did the same thing and took a few minutes to search for it in the bumber. I like the look of the LEDs instead of the stock bulbs. Much cleaner and brighter than the yellow-ish ones! Great video. Thanks for making this to help me figure it all out.

    Where can find that metal bracket that hold cover in place?

    This is what I wrote on your other comment… I would assume that would be a Honda part due to it not probably being mass produced like other items on vehicles. Take a look inside of the hole before you buy one from a dealer. It could have popped off and is located inside the compartment.

    LED last much longer so you need to factor that into the price as well

    See the video description like he said. There are few different options. Also most parts stores have these bulbs because they are very common in vehicles

    I've linked a few in the description. They range from $14-18 for two to more like a 10-20 for $10. The normal bulbs are much cheaper but do not last as long but still work well

    I have to change mine on my on my 2011 this might be a stupid question are the Honda ridgelines 2006 to 2014 are they front-wheel drive

  • @MCFIXIT

    @MCFIXIT

    They are interesting... it's considered a four-wheel drive system, called Variable Torque Management (VTM-4). But at normal operating speeds it's front-wheel drive. But it allows you to lock in vtm-4 for a 4WD under 18 mph. Once above that, the vehicles shuts off 4WD. I hope that makes sense. It's not a stand 4WD drive system.
