It really is easy, when looking at fn2 tutorials you will see this is even easier! No staples or screws needed

Lol the nut can be used to tighten up to the knob with a spanner once you have it central!! Hehe

Just some questions: Does this shift better than the original? Does this knob get hot in the sun?

This specific gear knob, no. It didnt feel too good changed it shortly after to the "epman" shifter. I can 1000% recommend the epman gear knobs, they are very nicely weighted & feel superb. They are also very cheap compared to the more known brands. Yes, all the metal gear knobs will sadly get hot in the sun. I usually put my hat or some kind of cloth on it during hot weather
