    I love how you try different things and don’t just stick to one method, it keeps the videos entertaining! I enjoy your relaxed approach too many people overthink fishing. The match world has ruined angling

    You should try Morans moat at fan lodge, bickershaw It’s super productive on double method feeder, great for a couple bite especially for 3-5 pound carp

    Not related to this video, which was good, but just seen Daiwa are about to release a new range of Ninja rods for 2024, under £100 and includes feeder rod or rods if you’re still looking! 👍🏼

    Cracking session , one thing that I do different is pack my lead at one side in the middle of the bag so I can make sure the bag land with that end on the bottom and then I inject some salmon or hemp oil on other side and that’s how lot of liquid goes to upper layers 🎉 Well done to you both

    Vagabond fishing. A style I use a lot reading the water walking along the bank looking for signs, hand dropping the method feeder in & returning back to my peg searching for the prize. I changed peg twice on Sunday 1st Peg: 0 fish. 2nd peg: 52fish 🎣🪱 Some Great Fish Westy & Dad agree with the comment below it’s great you fish together my dads into pigeons & can’t get him to pick a rod up. #smudgeronthebank #cavemanwithafishingrod

    The thing i dont get is if using solid bags quick change system and want to have 50 bags ready to go that means you gotta have 50 weights and 50 rigs already in the bags to be ready to go. It just feels super excessive not to mention heavy carry 50 weights. There gotta be a better way. Even just make the bags up without weight and rig inside amd just hooking bag on the hook lol

    No matey this is just a demonstration on an easy catch lake, normally you would just fish a lake like this with method feeder or bomb and pellet etc you would use solid bags on a proper carp lake where your only casting out every few hours , so you don’t need as many bags made. Then you have them in rotation so when your two bags are out you are making two to replace them. If you get me 🎣

    Do you cast out a bag after every fish or does it just depend how quickly you're catching?

  • @WestysAngling

    @WestysAngling

    When your fishing a pva bag it’s a new bag every fish, if you want to maximise its effectiveness, to hide the hookbait in pellets. It’s a technique more suited to s specimen lake really with bigger carp so you aren’t making pva bags up every two minutes because the bite rate is slower. Places like this the method feeder is just as effective 👌🏻🎣
