HOW TO CATCH HUGE PIKE WITH A 5" SPOON - 5 of diamonds - Len Thompson
This is the second video in the playlist will it fish. This is about using those big fishing Lures that we're all wondering if they work. What do they work on and where do they work. We've all been at the Fishing store and we've seen different things that cost anywhere between five dollars to $30 and we ask ourselves will it work. We're always afraid to buy it because we don't want to waste our money. We all know that a lot of these are made to catch fishermen more than they are made to catch fish. So in this playlist I'll tackle this problem and try each and everyone in different lakes, different species and different styles.
I will do my best to condense these videos to just show whether the product works or not. I will do my best as well to explain how I'm using the product, where are using the product, what depth I am fishing in and of course what species I am attempting to catch.

Cant be giving away our secrets man. We went for a 6 day long fishing trip up in Canada this year, and caught 1300 fish. All on the 5 of diamonds. Best lure of all time. Caught smallies, Largies, perch, walleye, pike, muskie, and I even caught a catfish on one. I cannot stress this enough... BEST LURE OF ALL TIME
My biggest pike was on a big 3 of diamonds. Roughly that size, given to me by a friend. Was sitting in his tackle box for like 20 years before I used it to catch mine. I still have that spoon.

Very similar in size to the Number 4 Len Thompson. Looks like it worked out well for you. Always amazes me that some small pike will hit those as well.

Daredevil red n white is my go to for pike
Daredevil spoon is my go to bait, I like a 3/4 or 1oz. Just about anything that swims will bite it!
Caught a 31” brown somewhere around Calgary on one of those was pretty fun that was before my fly fishing assimilation lol

I find that allot of the really big spoons are rather light for their size, relative to the smaller models. They catch fish just fine but they are often prone to getting blown around by the wind, and dont cast terribly well, generally making better trolling lures.
I have also caught pike on bell peppers, strips of tinfoil and even a baby pike on a McDonalds straw. Lol I feel like they almost eat anything
