Loving these videos. I watch them on Saturday mornings with my kids. It’d be pretty cool if you occasionally posted the amount of time it takes for each stage in the videos. I’m sure the finish work takes a ton more time than most people realize.

The amazing thing about Trilobites, is even if you mess up the mold with the numerous variants of Trilobites no one could notice! Also, a bronze Trilobite would be a cool paperweight for my desk.

I have never even thought about using a 3d print to make a mold. Good on you. This was very much a childhood favorite. I know I'm like 5 months late to comment on this video, but I just have to say... Wow. Sir, you are a true artist. I've watched probably hundreds of these types of videos on KZread, watching dozens of people cast and pour all kinds of designs and objects with all sorts of metals, and you are without a doubt one of the most talented that I've seen. I appreciate that you share your skills with us, and let us be a part of the process. Some folks might see this and say "what's the big deal? He poured metal into a mold." To those people, I suggest giving it a shot themselves. Especially on something this small with so many little details. Anyway, I look forward to seeing your other videos. I just wanted to take a moment to show and share a little bit of appreciation with you, for what you are able to do. Thank you. 🙏
