I’m learning so much through your videos. I’ve managed to give myself a long layered cut, following your ponytail method, then did some face framing/butterfly long bangs. I must say, it came out really great! 👍🏼 I’m loving my hair & feel very confident to cut my own hair once it’s time again. 😊

    このセレーナゴメスの髪型をセルフカットするやり方を教えて欲しい。この方法は自分で髪を切るには難しすぎる

Paul, I need your help. As I'm housebound, my mother (retired hairdresser) usually cuts my hair. She's given me 3 of your amazing cuts; I've loved every single one and my mom's loved doing it. It's been a nice bonding experience. However, this last time she lost her damn mind. I'm being funny because what else can you do, but she's 76. She melted down into a panic attack in the middle of cutting my hair but didn't tell me. It's not her fault and I'm not blaming her, I feel worse for her than I do for my hair. But this experience has taught me that I have to start cutting my own hair instead of being a backseat driver. She doesn't need to go through this. My hair now looks like I put a bowl on top of my head and cut it in the dark with crafting scissors. I'm not exaggerating; she just kept messing up and cutting it shorter, trying to even it out. I laughed it off for her sake but I've got to fix this. This is what I'm working with: It reaches just past my collar in back and chin level in front -- and I'd forgotten how wavy/frizzy my hair can get when not weighted down by length so it's probably a bit longer. Baby fine but tons of hair, about a 2C. I can't do a pixie cut. Can you or one of your amazing staff direct me to a video I can use to at least make myself look presentable? I'm a bit overwhelmed and I just can't figure out where to start. Please help me, Paul. You're my only hope.🥺

    Salon? Pixie.. buzz?!

@@CL-mn1yq Like I said, I'm housebound (disabled and on a fixed income), so no salon. My head/face shape is completely unsuitable to a pixie, and by extension, not suitable for a buzz cut. However I do have a huge, adjustable 3-panel mirror that lets me see my entire head and a brand new pair of hair scissors. And all the other basic tools. I'd follow a ponytail video if I could get any of my hair into a ponytail.😅At least there are no longer layers so there is *some* hair to work with. Maybe I should just wait a few months while it grows. It's just the uneven choppiness is really embarrassing and I can't even hide it.
