I am embracing my silver hair - but the darn old blonde layer just dominated the whole look. 2 wks ago I took a razor to it, watched some old videos of yours and removed all the old dyed blonde hair. I couldnt believe how much new silver hair was underneath! I love my new funky shag and already my hair is healthier and growing out nicely. How cool I get to be a silver haired sister!
Is there a way to do this using the rubberband technique?

An adorable hair cut. I have a lot of fine hair which curls if it is cut, and thinned out, correctly. Today I got the worst haircut I’ve had since the late 1980s: I walked out of the salon with a poorly blended mullet and unevenly thinned hair. Sigh.

I think I prefer this short version to other lengths. At least it's the only length I could imagine on myself if the job I'm training for didn't require me to wear my hair shorter than that or all up.
Almost like the Lisa rinna haircut
I would LOVE this cut but i'm afraid because my hair is a lot thinner than it used to be. I don't want it to look even thinner with such short layers. Would this still work for someone with thinning hair like me?

I have the same question..... Post Covid has left me with much thinner hair that is also fine and straight. Would this improve the appearance, or look even thinner?

Bangs (fringe) could be longer
When you say taking it "straight up" your actually angling it. Not straight UP. There is an angle.
