This is amazing and understanding step by step tutorial. Can I do this on my frizzy, dark brown long hear. I haven't coloured for.years.
I literally just wrote this down step by step with a pen & paper and did it to my daughters hair exactly as you did….. it turned out perfect!! It’s SOOO BEAUTIFUL, even and just so perfect!! I’m an elementary school teacher … no experience with hair. You are a ANGEL for sharing this!!! Thank you so much!!🫶🏼❤️🫶🏼
Thank you!! This has made it so much easier to do my hair. I even look more blonde. You are the best!!!
Watching this now ! Got to try this !!

The final highlight look is gorgeous. !!! Thank you, Paul. 🪃🦘🇦🇺
"Placege" 0:28 LOL! I'm glad you didn't edit that out.
You’re soo damm talented! Thank you for sharing this technique. What beautiful coverage you are truly talented.!
I just used this technique with a level 3-4 brunette and just balayaged larger sections in the portions in between, and it turned out beautifully!! Thank you!

That’s what I’m doing tomorrow
Fantastic * in my richest voice
Now that is a real blond, not that gray violet pastel ash thing everyone wants to achieve. This right here is a true butter blond.
Fantastic hack Especially when I’m in rush or someone on a budget 🇦🇺💕
This definitely deserves a thumbs up!

I literally just found your videos today. I subscribed because of your expertise and sense of humor and the cool accent was a bonus!! The gravy joke had me 🤣
Kirkland pop up foils are nice and we tear them in half, then half again for short hair!
That's brilliant paul

Thanks Karen
Beautiful! Would you do these highlights on levels 5 and darker?
Awesome
Love it! The only thing I would of done differently is start in back, cuz it's easier to rinse that's my personal preference, ,hot tip place alittle product on the foil first, that'll help keep foil in place I kinda got the musical reference, I'm more of a black sabbath bloke.,lol! I appreciate your time!
Amazing, incredible, I like the tutorial thank you so much, if you can please from where did you buy your mannequin? I need one for practicing. Thank you again
Thank you for all of your videos! I am going to the Aveda Institute which costs a fortune. I am meant to be learning from recorded, passionless modules. Sad. Thank you!!!!!
Loveit❤❤❤
yass efficiency
So, how would you charge for this in salon? Would you charge a “full foil” price? I have clients that ask for partial and then want foils at bottom hairline so when their hair is pulled up it looks like a full foil 🤔
I definitely over foil due to fear of it looking half a**ed. Thank you for the visual and placement!

WoW the end result is FLAWLESS 😍
I'm in Australia and I wish I could come to you! I have purchased all the stuff to do it myself at home. How do you think I'd go Paul?
Would be interesting to see this on a darker hair base. Bit difficult to see the effect on a light level 7/8. Think it would work for clients who want a softer full head look.
Hi paul what color your mennequin it was befour you do baliyag
Can you do a chunky money piece tutorial??
Hi paul what color you mennequn can you show what color you put tell the tru
My daughter wants me to be able to do this 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don’t want to be facetious but this took 34 minutes 😂
🤩❤
Ok
Longest widest and cheap what’s not to like?
That is working on someone who is level 7,8
Technique?
Too much talking and repeat. Sorry.
Foils are expensive because your paying for the stylists time, so this method would be cheaper? Or would the poor customer still pay top whack?
@PaulWattsHair

They are and express services help both you and the client. Charge accordingly
@feef94

With this mentality should you pay more for an inexperienced stylist that takes 4 hours to foil you or more for an experienced stylist that only takes 30 mins or an hour? You’re paying for experience and top shelf products more than you’re ever paying for time.
Be careful of hot roots.
Just do it too much talking at the atart
we need close ups, it's hard to see some of the details your talking about
I can see to far
not bad, but still look 90's
