Oh my goodness. I need this RIGHT NOW!!! I’m 32, have been walking with Christ for almost 11 years, celibate 10.5, never been in a relationship, and have desired marriage since I was 21. I go through really intense valleys of hating singleness where I’m so frustrated, cry, and just feel hopeless that I’ll never meet someone who is suitable for me and wants to serve Christ together. I’m actually in it now. I know my mission, values, gifts, and vision that God has given me and I am working on myself. So I’m not waiting on a man to live my life for the Lord. I just want someone to serve Him with. Anyway, my relationship with God has been up and down and He still speaks so tenderly to m heart and never shames me for my desire. I know He’s not holding out on me. I believe He is protecting and growing me in this time and hopefully my future husband as well. Thank you for this! I so resonated with it all!

God’s got you! Stay the course! Continue to do what you know to do! He is closer than you think but dive into God and allow him to do the rest. God gave you the desire so he will bring fulfillment. All you have to do is TRUST him and wait with anticipation but patience. The word of God says “blessed is she who believed” (Luke 1:45) stand on it and watch him perform!

I’ve desired marriage since I was little as well, but I mentioned 21 because that’s when I got saved and my desire for marriage was kingdom-minded and not worldly like it was before.

Something that has been helping me is just asking God to get you ready to receive your spouse. To change every part of you to make you His, and to make you complete so that you can have a healthy and happy marriage. I also had to pray for God to take away my sadness about being single. I’ll be 30 really soon, and I’ve never had a boyfriend or a kiss or even a date. It made me feel...wrong. So the prayer worked, and God has given me peace with my situation. I still feel lonely sometimes, but He is working on me, and I’m so blessed by Him for that knowledge. Btw: Thank you so much for these videos!!!! Never once did I think about my tendency to slip and to take control, and how that would affect me when God starts moving me towards my husband. He is clearly using you for great things!

God is at work and as the bible says 'he knows the plans he has for you plans to prosper you and not to harm you'. I became born again at the age of 30 and got married at the age of 35, i dated as a non christian till i was 30 and i can tell you from my own experience that your lack of experience with the opposite sex is not a hindrance to meeting and being loved by the man God has for you. This was really good, I like the way you explained intimacy with God and how plain you made it. I am 33 years old full time campus missionary. I have been single for over 10 years now and at 1st it didn't bother me but since 5 years ago I have really intentionally started praying for a husband but nothing is happening. I wouldn't say I have reached desperation but honestly it is becoming more difficult. My Single group of friends and I pray together for marriage but I just feel like I have prayed everything there is to pray about marriage (which is probably not true) I guess I am tired of contending with God for marriage. This intimacy is a breath of fresh air thank you. I have subscribed to your channel. I am excited to learn more

God is soo good. I needed this to help me on my journey seeking intimacy with God.

Thank you for the great video Sister in Christ. I'm 33 at the moment and also found that an intimate relationship with God is what really puts your whole life in perspective plus you're correct that we expect people to fill a void that only God can fill. It is very true. It will also help in marriage to have an intimate relationship with God because there are things that only He will understand that your spouse cannot. I think yhe unfortunate thing as that as women we are under pressure from society to marry in a society that doesn't even know God. It is harder, but if we seek God's kingdom then I have faith that he will supply all our needs according to HIS WILL not our own. Lastly you'll find that Christian women are not taught how to prepare to be a spouse and how to choose and qualify someone who will be your husband, it's not a romantic journey at all.

These are really good and insightful videos. It makes me realize I have drawn away from God somewhat in my heart. Getting to 36 and constantly being hounded by family on marriage is enough to do so. I do feel I don't need marriage but I do want to rekindle that Intimacy with God. Especially in Covid times where the busyness of my working days (front line worker) means I can become numb and shut down when it is time for devotion. Thank you again for these videos.

I just found your videos and I must say I am in awe of your closeness to God. You can always tell people who spend a lot of time with God and you exude this even through video. It is my desire to be more intimate with God. I often struggle with hearing His voice and being able to decipher between His and mine. I feel it shouldn’t be hard to hear from God since He wants to be close to us so I wonder why I have such a tough time. Maybe unbelief? Please keep me in prayers concerning this. It really is my heart’s desire. I am also 33 and waiting for a Godly spouse and your testimony is encouraging.

I asked for a prayer. I have asked for a sign from God 🙏 These prayers have been answered. I am so grateful for that. I just believe individuals destinies are not the same. We can't all do things the same way and expect things to turn out the same way. It will be different. Hence, when l hear people say, l did it this way or that way and the end result is this and other people jump on the bandwagon expecting the same result but end up disappointed. It's important to work out what your issues as individuals without this you will not find solutions. A woman that look down on a man but is praying to God for a human is not serious. Many women turned away from men that God planned for them and busy chasing shadows. Humble yourselves and that you desire will come you way.

It's the truth that men and women chase away future partners God's has chosen for them. There are women for example that lust for material things of life in choosing future partners. I am not advising that women should choose a man with no future as a husband but what some women are looking for in a man nowadays is just out of this world. Even when they finally get married they start comparing their husbands to other men or their friends husbands. Wahala if they happen to be earning more than their husbands. God did create our fingers equal. One person will have more than the other. That's life. Be contented with that God have given you.

Nothing you have said here is biblical, infact you're talking a typical wives tale. You don't know anyone's walk with Christ maybe not even with yourself, because generalizing is very judgemental and not a way to address other women in Christ. Essentially you're calling ALL OF US Jezebels or goldiggers without knowing our story. Shame on you!
