Your basic points are right but I believe the application varies from couple to couple. I just heard another Christian woman explain how her husband actively cleans and at a point in their marriage focused more on child care because the arrangement made financial sense for them at the time. I feel like the man's Biblical duty also has to be brought into these teachings to introduce a sense of balance because they have been abused in some Christian communities for a long time and misinterpretations continue to alienate young women especially. I was one of them.

I'm 31, white, and single, and I get quite nervous because wrinkles are starting to form on my forehead and I have to battle worries that I won't attract my husband. It's a minor thing, I know, but something that still plagues me. Thank you for sharing God's wisdom with us!

Thanks for sharing Funke, great wisdom. From my 22+ amazing years in this journey of three in one, I would add that raising the children is the duty of All. Whilst that isn't the main focus of your discussion it will be nice to balance that aspect. I mean the husband could help with the children's homework or any other house chores. If you don't create that balance the wife will wear herself out and might struggle to fulfil her role. God bless!

I cant praise God enough for the internet i was struggling with some feeling of not been appreciated in a relationship and every time I want to give up the lord lead me to some kind of message to keep me going as God say by lack of Knowledge my people perish the more we know the less mistake we will do and yet i believe its only Jesus living in me the hope of glory can make me this perfect women to care for man in the right way

I’m single but I want to be a good wife for when it happens. The most difficult thing you said was being nice while he is mean. I struggle with this on a daily with most people. If I’m already nice and treating you with respect and you’re mean I immediately go into defense mode and vindictive thinking. Like you don’t want to be nice and take advantage of my kindness ok I’ll just dismiss you or ignore you. I don’t want to be like that but instinctually I go there. Can you do a video on this?

Hi Barbra, thanks for watching and for your question. Examples of giving your husband can include learning to be interested in what he is interested in/ or passionate about, being avaialable when he needs it NOT just when its convinient. There will be times when it's not possible to be available and at those times you can approach it as i suggested in the video. i hope this helps. God bless & take care

What I want is to remain permanently unmarried and celibate. I'm done with the dating scene and marriage!

I don't have a husband so why am I watching 🤣 plus I've done all those things in my previous situations and it only caused me so much pain and disappointment. Unfortunately I don't have anyone who wants to marry me.

I must admit, I find some of these points harsh and biased against the wife. I feel like the husband wants everything without considering the wife's feelings. But I do agree with the general idea.

Perhaps because it is addressed towards women. The Bible asks men to love their wives as Christ does the church. Jesus died for the church. This is how deep men are required to take it. This needs to be preached more.

My main aim was to advice women in line with the Bible and from my own experience. And to show that while it is challenging it is possible for women (and men) to fufill their roles in marriage even if their spouse is not doing their own part. Thanks again. God bless & take care

What I want is to not marry. I want to live single forever. Not because I want to serve God exclusively, but because I can't be in a relationship successfully. I hope someday I come to serve God exclusively, but not today.

Hi freedhair, thanks for the comment. Mental health is very important for everyone. In this situation because it is an illness (of the mind) the wife may not be able to control how she behaves or deals with some of these issues in marriage. In such situations the prayer is that she will be able to get the prayer and support she needs to heal so that she can be the wife God wants her to be. God bless & take care
