It’s good to see the state of KZread fitness experts today. I stepped away from lifting for about 5 years and used to watch a handful of channels for info and motivation but recently have gotten back into it. This is so much more scientifically backed than any of the channels we had a few years ago. I like how you constantly site sources and studies in a lot of your videos. It’s no surprise u have so many subs. And I’m stoked that I stumbled upon your channel as I return to training seriously.

I started working out about a year ago, and ever since I stumbled onto your channel, I've applied a lot of the minor details and studies to exercises--as well as reiterating a lot of that info to my friends! It's opened up my horizons a lot more than before! I'm currently in the process of redesigning my routine, and I'm taking notes in Excel right now! :) Just felt particularly moved to say the above! Yooo mind was blown by the pinky and ring finger pressure on the bar.... it amazes me there never seems to be an end to things you can do with form to maximize tension on muscles. I thought not swinging, elbows at sides, squeeze, and slow on eccentric was all there could possibly be to a curl. I think this will be a game changer for me as I have been doing curls for years now working out gaining muscle in the rest of my body chest shoulders back... but my arms have always been stubborn in growing. Thank you so much Jeff!

Hi Jeff! Thank you for sharing your techniques. I have a problem and I want to share this to everyone. I did these workouts 4 times already since November and December 2018 once a week. * Inclined bench supported dumbbell row, pull-ups, chin-ups, bench press, shoulder press, barbell row, barbell squat, and deadlift.* When I went back to work after Christmas, I had an injury in my shoulder and my right chest while scooping seeds and peanuts with a bucket in a very big sack higher than me. At that moment, I used a stool so that I could reach the product and within my shoulder level. Suddenly while scooping and scraping these products, I felt something bad in my shoulder and in my right chest! That was terrible, I was in pain and agony. I thought my ribs and my rotator cuff was damage! I rested for 5 days. Then when I came back I felt ok. The next day the pain stroke me again and I stop what I'm doing in my work that my supervisor transferred me to another department with lighter work. I was crying because I can't move properly even when I just move my right hand with supination, and when I am bending to lift anything, it was extremely painful. My work in that factory is more than a year and just now I got these injuries. I don't know if it was caused by my workouts in the gym or from my work, maybe from both. I am so worried now and so depress coz' it's more than a month that I am not able to go back to the gym. I am afraid already what will happen next If I continue my workouts. I requested to freeze my membership account and maybe, later on, I will totally cancel my membership. I don't know what to do now, I am skinny and my goal is to gain mass while drinking supplements such as mass gainer from gnc, but at the same time I was exercising and working out in that gym to have that fit, healthy, and medium-size body with an abs, nice chest, biceps, triceps, and my legs too. Until that injury stroke me that had me stop workin' out.

I’ve been working out on & off for years n got back into it a lot the last few months and trying to keep it up now that I’m getting a bit older. You are very knowledgeable and I respect your advice a lot. I watch your videos almost every day now. I’m really impressed by your muscles too. You aren’t huge but your not small by any means; somewhere in the middle. That’s about where I’d like to be but I’ve fought a naturally skinny upper frame with a thicker lower half my whole life so getting where I want is extremely difficult

Hey Jeff, I'm battling a shoulder injury where my front delt (deep within the muscle - I believe it to be Labrum related) hurts whenever I do any dumbell front raises, including the slight shoulder raise that comes with bicep curls. I have a competition in 15 weeks and still want to continue training biceps to the fullest potential. Other than pad supported curls that take shoulders out of the equation, do you have any recommendations? Thanks from a fellow nerdy fan
